Major League Football (my fictional concept league)

As a Minnesota Grizzlies STH who just endured a 2-14 season.... I HEREBY DEMAND A TEAM REBRAND!!

Ever since the clubs relocation from Missoula of the Montana State Correctional League, I never understood why we kept the name. If you want to keep a bear nickname, how about the Black Bears? If it has to be a bear that doesn't reside within 500 miles of the state, at least go with the Polars or White Bears to play off of our cold weather. Otherwise, here is a list of names that would play much better up here:

Voyageurs

Norsemen

Northern Lights

Trappers

Lumberjacks

Loggers

Anglers

Pathfinders

Millers

Whiskeyjacks

Crows

Owls

Screaming Eagles

Blue Ox

Mooseheads

Mad Cows

Grey Ducks

Winterhawks

Nighthawks

Mallards

Loons

Arctic Cats

Raccoons

Blizzard

Lakers

Lake Demons

Skippers

Muskies

Buckhunters - florescent orange unis!

Game and Fish Wardens

Curs - rabid dog logo!

Skeeters / Bloodlust

Shoo spammer!

Its about the same color as the old London Monarchs Gold they had I actually lightened it up a bit

Just to let you all know where I was going with the logo & name.

The name is from Cincinnati being the nicknamed the Queen City obviously did not want to use Queens.

I almost went with Monarchs but chose Kings instead.

The top of the Crown is pulled from the flag of Cincinnati.

I initially had a football there but it just looked too generic so I tried to pull something from Cincinnati.

I am not sure it works but I hope so not a whole lot of comments so I am wondering if I missed on this one.

How about River Kings? I think it ties into Queen City as well as Cincinnati's role as a stop on the Mississippi River.

Team names that combine two words sound unprofessional.

Also, Cincinnati is situated on the Ohio River, NOT the Mississippi River.

Made some updates on a few logos first off I lightened the gold on Cincinnati do you think this is better?

New Orleans I changed the nose & chin along with gave a more flesh tone face.

Finally Philadelphia I slimmed the Tiger down a bit made a change on the back paw because I was just not happy with the last one.

Kings:

I'm not seeing much of a difference. I like the look either way

Pirates:

That change in tone should make the logo pop more off the helmet since you are introducing a new color but I'd have to see your full update to make sure

Tigers:

You corrected the main issue at the front with the chest area and now the back of the cat looks more like it matches the front

I actually really like the potential of the Cincinnati team, but it currently feels a little underwhelming. The logo feels like it could be more impressive on a white helmet with a blue center stripe, possibly with a thin gold outline kind of in the same format as the striping on the pants. White pants with said blue and gold striping could also stand out a little better, as well as white numbers. The away jerseys look great.

Just a few ideas to help clean your Cincinnati team, which again has very good potential. At the very least, though, the Kings helmet feels a bit bland, and could use some kind of striping

where did you get the realistic template? It looks awesome with your monarch uniforms and I like it with stripes better

I created it & you can find it in the PSD movement thread. There is also a thread for it somewhere on probably the 4th or 5th page.

I am sticking with the last version as that was my gut feeling for this team initially but both looks great to me but I am biased.
