The complete morons at Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket that insisted on continually interrupting the Kings game for the first period of a Clippers game need to be fired! Who in the hell interrupts overtime of the defending Stanley Cup Champions for the first period of a Clippers game? Until the Clippers win a Championship, then they don't deserve top billing at all. Blues "deserved" to win, but that's not how you'd draw it up.

They absolutely dominated the first three periods. But between Quick stand on his head and pucks bouncing inches from open nets, they just couldn't get a two-goal lead.

So naturally the Kings pick up a less than good goal with about 30 seconds left to deflate the Blues.

And deflate it did as the Kings dominated the OT period. And when the Blues took a 4-minute high-sticking penalty, that seemed to be all she wrote. Not just for this game. I never would have admitted it, but it felt like the Kings would walk to a sweep after stealing this one.

And then something crazy happened. Alex Steen (with an assist from Quick) stole it back. And now things feel back in the Blues favor. Not just because they won this game in a manner that can't have LA feeling too good, but because they were actually the better team tonight. And of course, the better team has the better chance to win.

We'll see, though. Even if this series were to wind up a sweep, it'd be one of those ridiculously close sweeps. And it could easily go seven.
