  1. The Premier Lacrosse League is set to unveil it's 2024 schedule and venues on New Year's Day. The 2024 PLL Championship Series takes place in mid February, once again at the St. James in Springfield, Virginia. NLL is in full swing. College lax should be getting underway in the coming months.
  2. Why hello there everyone its me Bass. Today marks the first post in a what if scenario that came into my head when I was just thinking one day.... you see Arena Football may of bitten the dust in the US ((Don't really count China's league per say because China doesn't exist in Football in general)) but considering the whole Amateurism in the NCAA is now officially over and athletes can now be sponsored again, the NCAA realised that they are in legit trouble. This has not stopped the penny pinchers from considering Arena Football as a means of retaining control and that is what they did... today is the start of what if the NCAA brought back Arena Football? PREMISE The rules of College Arena Football is essentially the same as Arena Football... a reduced squad, smaller venues and more importantly no FBS teams... all of them including the independent teams turned down this idea because they all thought it was a hot fad and another league rejecting Arena Football is the Ivy League... those stuck up pricks laughed at the idea... Teams accepting this are Non D1 schools, D1-AA schools (FCS) and a mixture of D2 and D3 schools as not all of them can afford the reduced rates. There will be 256 teams in 16 divisions of 16, 4 in each region... divided into East, North, South and West.... top 2 of each region advances to a elimination bracket where all roads then eventually will lead to Las Vegas. The following divisions are as follows: New England, Apple, Capitol, Atlantic, Great Lakes, Wolverine, Great Plains, Ohio Valley, Southeast, Coast, Gulf, Lone Star, Southwest, Rockies, California and Pacific. The first team today takes us to the New England division where it consists of Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont... all of the Northeast States and this first team is literally the latter: VERMONT CATAMOUNTS
  3. Hello, good folks at the SportsLogos.net forums! What I'm about to introduce is something I've been wanted to get off the ground for a while now, but here it is, I previously announced this several weeks in advance on my profile's status update, but this is the start of a multi-sport concept series called "Into the 816-Verse" this series will feature a mixture of breathing new life into Kansas City's forgotten sports teams and a little bit of alternate history. Over the course of this thread, I will be updating my profile banner with each finished concept until it eventually becomes a full collage of every logo in this concept thread plus all of my previous KC-related concepts. All of the primary marks in this series will be Fiverr commissions. 4. I was checking my channel guide and was surprised to see that the NCAA division 1 women's volleyball championship is airing live on ABC. As a volleyball fan this caught me way off guard since the championship usually airs on ESPN2. I would have never expected a women's volleyball match outside of the gold medal match in the Olympics to air live on a major over the air broadcast network. In addition to that, there's going to be 2 new professional women's volleyball leagues starting in 2024. The Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) and League One Volleyball ( going by abbreviation LOVB). Both these leagues have some pretty serious backing (LOVB is partnered with the USA Volleyball). Athletes Unlimited also has a volleyball league, but that league has an unusual model in that the teams change week to week selected by the top ranking players (best comparison would be to a fantasy team that changes every week). PVF and LOVB will both have a traditional city based team model. As a volleyball fan I'm all for getting more eyes on the sport as well as creating opportunities for American players to continue playing stateside after college, but couldn't help but notice the timing of all this coming off the US women's volleyball team finally winning gold at the recent Olympics. Does anybody think we are about to see a big push for girls/women's volleyball in the US? I've talked with some friends of mine that are involved in both youth and high school sports. According to them girls volleyball has had an increase in participation over the last decade. At some high schools, more girls have tried out for volleyball than basketball or soccer. I hope for the best out of all this. Although I fear they could go in the wrong direction with marketing. In addition to that at some point PVF and LOVB may end up merging, or we'd see one of the leagues go under. I don't see a scenario where both leagues coexist long term. Athletes Unlimited Volleyball could stick around since it has a very different model from what the other leagues are trying to do. Any thoughts/opinions?

Austin | Tarleton | Utah Tech | West Georgia (2024) When I did the 1972 Project, I hadn't intended to go back and do anything like it again. I hand drew 131 football uniforms for 130 FBS teams (and a stray FCS team) and I wasn't even completely done with the drawing phase when I started posting teams in March 2018. Flash forward almost 3 years later and I had wrapped on the project. 130+1 teams, four sports, and a website allowing you to see football uniform combos. It was great. It was a massive accomplishment. And just 219 days later, the cycle was starting over again. But that was good. I couldn't control realignment and teams moving up. I missed on 4 teams that are moving up so now they get their chance. Rules are the same, but for those that are new to the arena: Nike is control of college sports aesthetics, much to probably some dismay from some corners of the world. In addition, every team in this universe also has a varsity level football, hockey, baseball and basketball teams. At the FCS level, this really means forming or potentially reviving unique looks for everyone and especially putting some catalog looks to pasture. Also something that is a little more unique to the FCS level that we didn't really have to worry about with the FBS teams: football teams will be given their football conference patches, but other sports teams in non-football conferences will be given those conference patches, i.e. NDSU playing football in the Missouri Valley but other sports playing in The Summit League. Plus in the downtime there were some improvements made to the templates, ways to see more options for socks and cleats at once and those sort of things. Anyways, let's pick up where we left off shall we? The Vandals were the last team in the original list of teams and they were there only because they were an FBS team when the light bulb first went off. And if you remember, they were still wearing old gold at that point. Well 4 years is a long time in the life span of a uniform or branding set. Now the Vandals have gone back to their vibrant Pride Gold. They also have slowly rolled out new uniforms based on the recent updates and haven't quite gotten them all out yet but I had some changes I wanted to make. Football - So football returns to their iconic look, black with athletic gold. Their new away uniforms utilize the Steelers stripe which has some historical precedence for the Vandals but I wasn't intent on making them complete Steelers clones. For the black uniforms, the stripes simply flip the black and white. Also a big addition to all the uniforms is a number font that gets close to the wordmarks but isn't an exact match. For the helmet options, a couple different gold, Vandals arch and the I block logo. Black helmet also sees the I block. I had pointed out in the FBS thread that Idaho suffers from a "Colorado Complex", having their official school colors be silver and gold, which don't always mesh well. But with the new gold, I felt that it could work this time, and the silver alternates swap out the Steelers stripe for a triple stripe, based on the Ken Hobart era uniforms. The alternate uniform would be initially paired with the black helmet with the Joe Vandal mascot logo on the sides. (Also those black helmets represent two different helmets. There would also be an option for white pants, they're just not pictured.) Hockey - I have said enough negative things about this hockey club so I'll spare you all that diatribe again. The Vandals hockey team mixes black, silver and gold and they do it pretty well but I wanted to get away from that and save silver for the alternate. So with that, the Steelers stripes come over to the sleeves. I retired their college wordmark + number treatment and replaced it with the I-Block logo. I did briefly consider a gold helmet for hockey, but I wasn't a fan in the end, so just black helmets. The silver uniforms for the non-football sports work into a fauxback sort of vibe. The college wordmark treatment returns, just with Joe Vandal under it instead of a player number, and the triple stripe swaps in for the Steeler stripes. Baseball - Boise State and Idaho both dropped their baseball programs in 1980 and they became club programs. Unfortunately for their varsity team's return, the club team doesn't offer too much to the aesthetic. 3 options for head gear: all black + I-Block, gold/black with the I+Block, and black/gold with Joe Vandal. Smaller stripes on the sleeves on V-neck uniforms. With the return to the classic gold color, it felt right for these uniforms. Alternate goes silver like the rest, stripes flip to the triple stripe. Black and gold sock options for the white and black uniforms, just black for the alternate. Basketball - Where basketball uniforms can be a little more expressive than other sports uniforms, that's not the case here. Simpler solid stripes around the neck and arm holes, main stripe down the sides of the jerseys. Contrasting waistbands, I-Block on the front, with the full stripe on the bottoms of the shorts, logo on the sides of the shorts. The alternate deviates ever so slightly from the others, using the wordmark from the 1981-82 team that won the Big Sky and lost just 3 games that season, but that's the only real deviation. The triple stripes make their way back and so does Joe Vandal. Some of you may remember I had a website where you could pick and make your own combos. I don plan on keeping that going, but it is in need of some serious help so updates might be a little slower there. But let's have some fun with it! And besides, the second movie in the trilogy is usually a better one than the first
  6. I recently designed a new jersey template for hockey and decided to test out my new design with a large scale project. The NHL and international hockey have been done to death, but Division 1 college hockey remains for the most part a fertile ground, in particular because it is one of the weird sports that includes otherwise D2 schools while most powerhouse schools do not even field an NCAA level team. I set myself a few goals for the project: 1) Give every team a unique look; eliminate NHL uniform copies, reduce the number of teams with the same elements. 2) Respect a team's history where applicable; While each uniform is new in some way, historically dominant teams will be less likely to veer into wild designs. 3) Two jerseys only per team; I might make alternates later, but for now I just want primary looks for each team. 4) No jersey manufacturer designs; This exists in a world where MDGP got the contract for all of D1, and I prefer jerseys without the manufacturer logos. NOTE: Primary and secondary logos in the presentation do not necessarily correspond to their location on the jersey or real life designations, rather what I chose as the primary and secondary as the design was being made. NOTE 2: Where there are two different colored helmets in a set, the helmets are considered interchangeable between the jerseys. The helmets will be placed in the more conventional arrangement of light jersey with light jersey and dark helmet with dark jersey, unless otherwise specifically specified. With that, let's get started. We're gonna do this alphabetically (with preference to main campuses)... First up, the Air Force Falcons! Air Force has worn a few designs over the years generally featuring asymmetric striping designs on the shoulders and sleeves. I created a design that combines a double stripe commonly used by the team with gray shoulder stripes that I've used in the past. The shoulders continue to feature the team's traditional Captain America shield logo and the chest/numbers feature a font inspired by fonts used on air force planes. The design also includes my redesigned Atlantic Hockey logo on the chest, which can be found here!
  7. I didn’t see a 23/24 thread so I thought I’d start it with new uniforms for Wisconsin compared to last year’s No side stripes on the jerseys and shorts, updated collar and sleeve stripes, and the W/state logo on the back collar. Really good upgrade. Also, the Under Armour logo is on the collar instead of the chest which might be a thing to watch out for other UA schools
  8. *Update* This is an old thread I made a few years ago, dedicated strictly to Big Ten uniforms. I've decided to re-purpose it into a general thread for all my college football concepts. The first few pages will be just the older B10 uniforms, then I'll combine in a few other older non-B10 stuff, and going forward it will be what ever college concepts I come up with. IMO the current multi-uniform craze that's been strangling college football for the past 7 or 8 years now, has reached a point of maximum stupidity. At one time, you could argue that it was cool to be one of the teams that pulled off some unexpected out-of-the-box alternate look (I'd probably argue that it was never all that cool, but you could argue it was)... but now? When 4th tier nobody teams hit the field in chrome/matte/charcoal/pattered silliness "Jumped the Shark" doesn't even begin to cover it. With that in mind, I'm remaking the 14 teams of Big Ten, each in a solid signature look. Each team gets just one home jersey, one road jersey, one helmet, one pair of shoes, one pair of socks, and a maximum of two pairs of pants. IMO if the elements are most clearly what each team should be wearing nothing else is needed. I also wanted to put each team into a Nike template, the idea being that, if the conference was united in this "one best look" concept, they should also be united in a single template. With that... here we go!
  9. When I was in my early teens, my parents bought me NCAA Football 98 for the computer. I really enjoyed the game, and it was very well-designed for the most part: 100+ schools; full-season play with rankings, major bowl games, and major awards; school fight songs; decent playbooks; something approximating logos on the helmets. It was a very good game for the late 1990s---not as good as the Football Pro series overall, but distinctly collegiate and lots of fun. Anyway, despite the overall quality, there were two details that I have since learned were wrong. One, LSU by default wears yellow jerseys over white pants at home in that game. Two, Missouri's colors are green and gold in the game instead of black and gold. (Come to think of it, I think the latter was also the case in that college hoops game for the Super Nintendo even earlier.) I was wondering: have you guys and gals noticed any similar errors in other games? (Incidentally, Football Pro 98 has the Eagles wearing kelly-green-and-gray even though they were in their second season with their current and inferior color scheme.)
  10. I started redesigning every power 5 & independent team's uniforms, I started some time in December or late November. i didn't account for event/alternate helmets (I.E BC's red bandana helmet) jersey number is chosen to best represent the font. most of these are concepts or previous jerseys i saw and put on this template, as this is the closest to seeing it on field without photoshopping the uniform on the players themselves. PAC 12: Arizona state: based off of their 2011-2014 uniforms & @mbannon92's concept. Arizona: I really liked their 2017-2020 uniforms, their current jerseys look basic & have striping inconsistencies. Cal: I like their 2013-2016 jerseys more than the current ones, but I didn't like the collar, so I removed it and modified the striping next to it to point into the jerseys seam Colorado: as I have seen before on this site, I too like the idea of northwestern stripes on the current jersey Oregon State: their new uniforms are okay but I don't like the shoulder stripes, I think they would look better on the sleeves, I also swapped the numbers on the home & road jerseys to orange. Oregon: their pro-combat uniforms were better than the current ones, also I prefer the wings on the helmet. Stanford: I saw a picture of Richard Sherman in a cardinal uniform, I saw 2 stripes on the pants, never again did I see 2 stripes & thought they never existed. then I saw a picture of them from that era. up until today (3/23/24 edit) i never knew Stanford actually wore similar uniforms to the red alternate concept shown below UCLA: their current jerseys are good, but I think the white & gold should be navy-dominant, and added navy & black alternates. USC: I reverted back to their 2015 jerseys; the number font was better & I kept chrome helmets as alternates. I also added a yellow outline to the road numbers. Utah: I prefer the mountains on the sleeves over the 7-stripe jerseys they have now. Washington State: I based it off the 2011-2016 jerseys with the modern helmets, I also modified the designs on the sleeves & pants. Washington: I used with the 2004-2008 jerseys with 2009-2013 pants and added a chrome helmet & black alternate that matched. GO DAWGS!
  11. Hi guys (again) I have plenty stuffs that I'm working on, And rather than create 50 threads I'll post them all here if it's allowed. I need some C&C before posting any of these & future designs on my portfolio. -Wofford : I've done two versions because I'm torn... which one you guys think will work better?
  12. The first week of college football is finally here and I thought I'd celebrate the beginning of the season by starting a new thread of college football uniform concepts. A couple years ago I realized I've done concepts for high school, non-college football, and NFL teams but none for my favorite sport, College Football. I've been working on these concepts off-and-on for 4 years but (like many people) I've had way more free time in the last year to create more concepts. Now this is a bigger project than anything I have done because this is not only for FBS teams but FCS, D2, and D3 teams as well. My problem with my past concepts on here is that I start a topic before all of my concepts are actually done but not this time. I have all the FBS, FCS, and D2 teams completed, and about half of the D3 teams completed. It's been tough creating unique identities for smaller schools that I hadn't even heard of but it's been fun and I'm excited to post my concepts. I'll start out posting the FBS teams first and then go FCS, D2, and finish with D3 posting in random order. Since I am a little bias I'm going to start with my favorite team; Wisconsin. FBS: FCS:
  13. Inspired by actual Club Football which is where the likes of Vermont and Milwaukee still exist with names such as Pitt and Ohio State, the idea I figured was essentially bring in around a minimum of 12-16 teams from the North region and the South region (like USFL) but have a mixture so it's not just big names... so I figure I would start off with a team that refused to go into Arena Football but was essentially coaxed into this league by backers who wanted to see a long standing rivalry re-establish themselves... We begin with a side known for their multiple claimed national titles. YALE BULLDOGS Yale has prestige, has class, has arrogance... essentially one of the older clubs that are entertained by the idea of a league that goes up against their old foes but also big clubs as well. There will be no teams from the West in this.
  14. In the spirit of March Madness, I've been wanting to start a project that puts the Final Four back in Kansas City, Missouri as well as some other first weekend/second weekend sites I've picked out for the 2031 NCAA Tournament. Now why am I making a concept for a tournament that's 8 years in the future? Because that's the next open/undecided year for a Final Four host, the NCAA currently has sites for the next 3 NCAA tournaments all picked out and sites for the next 7 Final Fours. 2024: Phoenix 2025: San Antonio 2026: Indianapolis 2027: Detroit 2028: Las Vegas 2029: Indianapolis 2030: North Texas Without further ado, here are all of the sites that I've picked out in this hypothetical 2031 NCAA tournament. OPENING ROUND SITES + FIRST FOUR For these opening sites, I tried to pick places that haven't hosted opening round tournament games or haven't hosted them in a while, and of course Dayton will still host those play-in games at UD Arena, and here I'll be listing off any previous (or scheduled future) times that these places have hosted opening round games. Little Rock, AR (Simmons Bank Arena) - 2008 Cincinnati, OH (Heritage Bank Center) - 1988, 1992 San Jose, CA (SAP Center) - 2010, 2013, 2019, 2026 Tampa, FL (Amalie Arena) - 19831, 2003, 2008, 2011, 20202, 2026 Washington, D.C. (Capital One Arena) - 1998, 2002, 2008, 2011, 2026 Phoenix, AZ (Footprint Center) - Never3 Boise, ID (ExtraMile Arena) - 1983, 1989, 1992, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2005, 2009, 2018, 20214 Raleigh, NC (PNC Arena) - 19515, 1952, 1969, 1977, 1979, 2004, 2008, 2014, 2016, 20216, 2025 1Tampa hosted opening round games at the Yuengling Center in 1983 2Tampa's Amalie Arena was scheduled to host opening weekend games in 2020 before the tournament was cancelled 3Phoenix's Footprint Center has hosted second weekend games in 1999, 2004, 2008, 2012 4Boise was originally scheduled to host first weekend games in 2021, before the tournament was moved to the Indiana bubble 5Raleigh's Reynolds Coliseum hosted opening weekend games in 1951, 1952, 1969, 1977, and 1979 6Raleigh was originally scheduled to host first weekend games in 2021, before the tournament was moved to the Indiana bubble REGIONAL SITES Now we move on over to regional sites, the South Region will be hosted in San Antonio's Alamodome, the Midwest Region will be in Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum, the West Region will be in Sacramento's Golden 1 Center, and the East Region will be in Pittsburgh's PPG Paints Arena Previous/scheduled future hostings: San Antonio, TX (The Alamodome) - 1997, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2011, 20221 Milwaukee, WI (Fiserv Forum) - Never2 Sacramento, CA (Golden 1 Center) - Never3 Pittsburgh, PA (PPG Paints Arena) - Never4 1San Antonio's AT&T Center hosted second weekend games in 2022 2Milwaukee has hosted opening weekend games in 1984, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2004, 2010, 2014, 2017, 2022, and 2025 3Sacramento has hosted opening weekend games in 1994, 1998, 2002, 2007, 2017, and 2023 4Pittsburgh has hosted opening weekend games in 1997, 2002, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2022, and 2024 FINAL FOUR Now we move on to the main event, the 2031 Final Four inside GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (with a retractable roof) in Kansas City, Missouri. This concept would have Kansas City hosting its first Final Four in 43 years, it's first in Arrowhead Stadium. And it's 11th overall as Kansas City has hosted Final Fours at the old Kansas City Municipal Stadium in 1940, 1941, 1942, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1957, 1961, 1964 and one in HyVee Arena (formerly Kemper Arena) in 1988. The logo's base was a Fiver commission, although I made some major modifications to make it more "NCAA-esque", the font I used for the "Final Four" text was Authority Rounded Italic, the text used for "Kansas City 2031" was Priori Sans, and the text used on the court was Futura Display Compress Standard. FINAL FOUR COURT And here is the court I designed for the Final Four, I chose purple and yellow as a color scheme for a tribute to the royalty theme of the local sports teams in Kansas City (Royals, Chiefs, Kings formerly) This was a first attempt of mine, and I would love any sort of feedback on this.
  15. When you learn about defunct football, you learn about a literal state full of teams that used to thrive in college football.... well until 1991 at earliest but lately there's a LOT of schools in California that can't afford or stop caring about the gridiron in general and that saddens me because you have history and then it is being wiped out by two things.... politics and funding from said politics.... the less mentioned about those two :censored: schools joining the Big 10 the better. Anyway there's a lot to cover here and this will be seldom updated from time to time, so don't expect a massive flurry as you see from the other threads.... this is mostly for me to see what would happen if these teams now suddenly got funding and got entry into NCAA again... this will apply to all levels. To start off with, we are going with a school that joined the Big West Conference in 2020 but that conference does not play football or sponsor said sport.... so I figured I would make a full set for this school and see what happens. UC SAN DIEGO TRITONS Home Road Alt The premise behind this set was to emulate the San Diego Chargers of the 80's in terms of looks and colors.... there were two other colors that I could of used but they wouldn't work with the set up I had in mind here..... Navy helmets on all, navy/gold is primary for home with white and gold pant alts, road is white/navy with gold and white pant alts and alt is gold/navy with white and gold pant alts... gold helmets might be a thing but definetly not white helmets...
  16. Okay anyone, after thinking about it for awhile. I wanted to do this for A LONG TIME NOW, I will officially announce I'm doing College Bowl Games Concepts! Before we begin with the first logo, a quick heads up, these are going to be made by Paint.NET. So it's not going to be a masterpiece like with most creators of sports concepts, but I'm willing to give you guys something to enjoy. From, TheAnt755 (a.k.a. The Notorious A.N.T.)
  17. My proposal is for college football to move to megaconferences. Each Power 5 conference would absorb the Group of 5 teams to yield these conferences: SEC: 28 teams ACC: 28 teams Big Ten: 26 teams Big 12: 24 teams Pac-12: 24 teams Now there’s no glass ceiling on team in FBS. Every team, from Akron to Alabama, has a similar road map to the college football playoff. The only question left is scheduling. How do you schedule a 28-team conference? Algorithmic matching! Here’s a template for what each individual teams’ schedule would look like: Weeks 1 and 13 are prescheduled non-conference games. Weeks 2 and 3 are prescheduled conference games against randomly selected opponents, subject to playing one team from the top half of the previous year’s conference standings and one team from the bottom half. Weeks 4 through 12 algorithmically match opponents every week, subject to prescheduled home/away designations throughout the year. Each team has one bye during this period and one prescheduled game against a rival. The algorithm is quite simple. Line up each of the teams according to home and away designations and order them by conference standings. Match the top team set to play at home to the top team set to play on the road (if they have not already been scheduled to play each other), then go to the next team in the standings and proceed until all opponents have been matched. A poor team gets a fortunate schedule early on and wins some games? They will soon be scheduled with the giants. A great team loses a pair of close games right away? They will soon be scheduled with the minnows and elevated back up. To avoid shenanigans, you would only sort the conference standings by conference record and then randomly order the teams with the same record. This also means there could be weekly scheduling shows to reveal the (quasi-) random matchups that were created. Week 14 algorithmically matches opponents as well, but with no home/away designations set beforehand. This ensures that if a conference has 2 giants that have somehow avoided each other to the end, they will meet in the last week. Home and away would be decided post-matching by scheduling in the location opposite those teams’ last meeting. And if a matchup is a conference decider, the conference could turn it into a neutral site conference championship game. I simulated the 2022-23 college football season and at the very end will reveal the resulting conference standings, the eight-team (!) playoff, and the national champion. But first, onto the conferences where I have designed new uniform sets for every team under the constraint that a casual fan be able to notice that the uniform is different than it was before. Onto the SEC!
  18. For this series, I plan on redesigning all of the basketball courts in the B1G while drawing some inspiration from the boundary-pushing NBA courts of recent years that have introduced unique wood patterns (Grizzlies, Nets, Hornets). Indiana Hoosiers - Assembly Hall The Hoosiers replace their standard wood pattern for a candy striped chevron pattern while maintaining the classic paint scheme. Rutgers Scarlet Knights - "The RAC" The State University of New Jersey blends past and present by bringing back the parquet pattern inside the three point lines. The baselines and sidelines are exaggerated, similar to the Raptors', and create a striping pattern that calls back to the piping of the 1983 team.
  19. Purdue confirmed on twitter that they will be getting new uniforms next season... finally. I've never been a fan of their current uniforms and not just because I'm an Indiana fan. I've never quite understood the shorts design nor have I liked the contrasting collar, shoulder stripes, and thing text outlines. I'd like to see the men's team go in the route of the women's team with more traditional uniforms, but I have a feeling Nike will not do that. I came up with a few new uniforms to create a new set for the Boilermakers. The three primary uniforms feature the cowcatcher inspired wordmark emphasized with a contrasting panel. I've never been much of a fan of the cowcatcher wordmark on their current uniforms, but I think by framing it inside of its own panel gives more intention to the shape and makes it look less out of place. The cowcatcher design is repeated on the shorts and creates an abstracted version of the traditional two color short piping. The two alternates are fauxbacks. The first brings the script from the "World's largest drum" to the hardwood in the style of Purdue's uniforms from the 70's. The Black alternate is also done in the same 70's style with an arched script similar to the uniforms Illinois has worn in recent years.
  20. I had an idea for a continuation of the Heavy vs. The NCAA thread for a while but I wasn't sure how to impliment it... I can do it via the shakeup of how Texas Longhorns coerced Oklahoma Sooners into accepting fake Disney Money and from there I go whenever... but turns out when you research randomly into teams for the NCAA... you learn about other teams that exist outside the NCAA bubble and half of that is learning about different sides, So I figured I focus on that first.... so treat this as the recent Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Pass.... you get more uniforms to admire. Anyway it's time to take a look at the first team and I am going into the lands of Canada for this one because this team was the first to stand out and if they WERE to be accepted into the NCAA then they have an identity that already makes them unique whilst idiots that support college football would call them ripoffs of say Boston College because they are a red and gold team. INSTEAD THOUGH THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT THEY ARE..... FROM THE FRENCH CANADIAN SPEAKING QUEBEC! LAVAL ROUGE ET OR ((RED AND GOLD)) The Red and Gold of Canada... a side that's been winning the most U cups since their inception in 1999.... A proud team that represents their colours of Red and Gold.... so into the Home and Road I've kept that proudness with a stripe pattern that works well.... and since they incorporated Black into their scheme, it sets them apart from Boston College although Florida State of my design wouldn't be impressed. Where would they go? If they were to be integrated I can see ACC or American take them in.... i mean a nice trip to Quebec City is also good.
