  1. Hello everyone! First I wanted to introduce myself, I'm PascalHugo and I am a designer. I wanted to create a football series, sorry soccer, across the Europe and maybe the world... So let's start this! ( Yeah yeah I know, I try inspiration by Berlin Wall and Lafarge) DEUTSCHE FUßBALL LIGA The Deutsche Fußball Liga was founded in 1960, after the DFB and the DDR decided to create an unique championship for Germany. It's a merger of several regional championship across the two Germany. It was one of the Top 5 championship in Europe (England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France) and it's most unpredictable of all. There are 20 clubs in the Deutsch Fußball Liga . During the course of a season (from August to May) each club plays the others twice (a double round-robin system), once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 38 games.
  2. We have the Players in the "Wrong" Uniforms thread and within that thread I've seen a few "Right Team, Wrong Uniform" entries. I thought I'd separate the two, because it is an interesting topic of its' own. Here are a few to start the thread off with ... Charles Barkley, Preseason 1992, Phoenix Suns Matt Hasselbeck, 2001, Seattle Seahawks Jeff Bagwell, 1992, Houston Astros.
  3. Hello, good folks at the SportsLogos.net forums! What I'm about to introduce is something I've been wanted to get off the ground for a while now, but here it is, I previously announced this several weeks in advance on my profile's status update, but this is the start of a multi-sport concept series called "Into the 816-Verse" this series will feature a mixture of breathing new life into Kansas City's forgotten sports teams and a little bit of alternate history. Over the course of this thread, I will be updating my profile banner with each finished concept until it eventually becomes a full collage of every logo in this concept thread plus all of my previous KC-related concepts. All of the primary marks in this series will be Fiverr commissions. FOOTBALL Kansas City Cowboys/Marshals (NFL) Marshals (ex-Dallas Texans) (NFL) Kansas City Blues (NFL) Kansas City Stars (NFL) Kansas City Renegades (CPIFL) Kansas City Mules (NFL) Super Bowl LXII (NFL) BASEBALL Kansas City Mules (MLB) Royals-style Athletics-style Kansas City T-Bones (AAPB) Kansas City Packers (FL) Kansas City Blues (AAA) Kansas City Blue Sox (A) Kansas City Giants (NLB) Kansas City Royal Giants (NLB) Kansas City Maroons (NLB) BASKETBALL Kansas City Knights (ABA) NBA-style Kansas City Grillers (ABA) Kansas City Tornadoes (TBL) Kansas City Mustangs (WBA/WNBA) HOCKEY Kansas City Blades (IHL) Kansas City Outlaws (UHL) SOCCER Kansas City Wizards (MLS) Classic colors Kansas City Comets (MASL) Kansas City Spurs (NASL) BONUS Kansas City Royals (NBA) Classic colors Kauffman colors Kansas City Steers (ABL) Kansas City Soul (ABA) Kansas City FC (MLS/NFL) Kansas City Chefs (NFL) Kansas City Reapers (NFL) Kansas Tech Jackals (NCAA) Kansas City Chiefs (Redesign) (NFL) Fort Worth Cattlemen (AAA) Omaha Outlanders (G-League) Omaha Gnomes (MLS Next Pro) Kansas City Royals (NLB) Apollo Beach Royals (A) Kansas City Thunder (NBA) Kansas City Lakers (NBA)
  4. Recently Aston Villa has undergone a crest redesign that can only be described as a complete and utter debacle. For those out of the loop. Since the 2000s Aston Villa has worn an honestly pretty bad light blue crest with a yellow lion, pictured below on the left. Its color scheme is a textbook example of the concept of contrasting colors and why you should use them. Last season, the club decided it was time to make a change and gave fans the option to vote for two honestly also pretty bad crests. The fans voted on the logo in the middle, which was an attempt to return to their 1980s crest, but without any of the charm. It also led many fans to claim it looked too close to Chelsea's design, which I don't necessarily agree with. However, this logo merely revives the worst, and most generic crests the team has ever worn. Then, after all the backlash, Aston Villa scrapped the new design and a leak of a new new crest which ultimately is just a worse version of the crest that they had all along. Since nobody at the club seems to have any idea what they're doing, I've decided to fix it for them. My version of the crest is designed to complete the following goals: Keep the 2000s era shield. Roundels are boring and overplayed. Just because social media websites use circles doesn't mean everyone needs to design their logos to fit snug inside them. The shield design helps Aston Villa avoid the spurious Chelsea comparisons, gives some continuity between designs, and has historical precedent. Claret and Blue as the primary colors. I achieved this by looking to the club's iconic jersey. The popular maroon and light blue jersey design originated with Aston Villa, so I incorporated that design on the shield with two light blue vertical stripes. This also has the added effect of referencing the crest designs of the 1970s and 90s through early 2000s, which featured a series of claret and blue vertical stripes. Retain the Redesigned Lion, but in Yellow. The lion from the first redesign is actually great. It reminds me a lot of the Detroit Lions redesign and how it only improved on a logo that was a bit of a blob. However, I made a few changes. First, the lion is flipped to face the left, matching basically every crest the club has ever worn. The lion also returns to yellow since it provides excellent contrast with the design so long as it has the claret outline to prevent blending with the light blue. Use the Full Team Name and Slogan. Another issue brought up in the redesign was the use of AVFC. Many fans felt that using Aston Villa would be more helpful in actually identifying the team. I also wanted to bring back the team's slogan "prepared" that had graced the crests for decades and quite frankly is more interesting and unique than the team's founding year. The final result was the logo above, which I believe updates the team's crest in a unique way while also maintaining historical elements that fans of the club would appreciate. I'd love to hear what you all think!
  5. 2020 Entries: 2020 Alternate Takes: 2022 Additions/Updates: Hey folks! I've had some NWSL concepts cooking for a while now, and after some free time spent improving them, I wanted to start sharing them! I plan to do kits for the current league, as well as bringing back some old teams and creating a couple new expansion teams. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ Starting things out with Carolina: The Courage have a pretty good look already, but I wanted to get rid of their monochrome uniforms, so I added a pale Carolina blue to the color scheme. The home jersey's design includes blueprints from Raleign inventor Beulah Louise Henry, sometimes called the Edison of her time. Click the square below for a closeup of the pattern: The away jersey is inspired by famous North Carolinian civil rights activist and singer Nina Simone. The colors are based on her outfit on her first album cover, while the stripes are waveforms generated from her songs "Old Jim Crow," "Feeling Good," "Four Women," "I Loves You Porgy," and "Mississippi Goddam," from top to bottom. I'm not very familiar with her work, so if any of you are fans of hers, please let me know if you think a different album cover would be better inspiration or if there are better songs to use. Finally, the third jersey is a 2002 fauxback to the Courage's WUSA days. C&C appreciated! Thanks for checking it out and I'll post more soon!
  6. Hi Everyone! I'm kreativekun I'm new here and this is my first time creating a thread, so please be gentle So, I was heavily inspired when Nike made NFL jersey for their teams back in 2018/19 season At that time, Nike released 5 NFL jerseys for Chelsea, Tottenham, Barcelona, PSG, and Club America So I think it's a good idea to make NFL jersey for the big 3 brands that are Adidas, Puma, and Nike The jerseys I made are based on the 2023/24 season and taking into account the apparel sponsorship changes in summer of 2024 Without further ado, please enjoy my NFL x Soccer jerseys (comment, critics, and maybe teams suggestion are welcomed) But before that, let me post my hypothetical NFL x Soccer pitch crossover
  7. HELLO EVERYONE! I am Exceed Idiot, currently a college student and hobbyist graphic designer (which is probably why a lot of my designs are bad :[ ). As a fan of Indian sports and Asian sports in general, I just wanted to create a series set in the future where Asia has developed well in various (especially India). The first league I'll start with is Pro Liga India, which is a football league. This series has been inspired by PascalHugo 's Alternate Football Universe series. I chose this one first because the Indian Football pyramid will finally completely enable promotion and relegation in the 25/26 so I thought what else would be a better time to rebrand and completely restructure Indian football as a whole, especially since it would be the 25th anniversary and a World Cup year in 2050. In this Universe where I have become God , here is what I have done: Turned the football pyramid into a closed 4-tier structure, with 5th,6th and zonal divisions happening after 2060 or so. Started off with 70 teams in 2025, 74 in 2030, 80 in 2035 and finally 84 from 2040 and onwards. 35 of the 84 teams are brand new clubs, with some of the real teams getting rebranded while others retain their identities. Various brand new stadia and rivalries (once I master Blender and drawing, I'll post stadiums here too). Made 50+1 mandatory for all clubs. (No full control for Man City over Mumbai City anymore). Have the league get a streaming service with the other leagues of the series where the league gets the subscription fees and ad revenue directly and equally distributed among clubs.
  8. It's apparently been a full year since I've posted any concepts here, and I'm getting withdrawals. one of my favorite sports games is Football Manager, and I almost exclusively play Park to Premier style playthroughs in which a team from the very bottom of the pyramid is picked, and you try to get promoted all the way up to the Premier League and continental tournaments. These playthroughs also have the added effect of exposing me to a lot of smaller teams and their terrible, terrible crests. Since the game is extremely moddable, I like to take it upon myself to update the crests for these teams. I've shown off a few of these in the past with my Oxford United and Wolves designs. There's not going to really be any rhyme or reason to the designs other than they're smaller teams who's designs I wanted to update. I also realize that these teams, despite being small, have storied histories and passionate fans, and I want to design a logo that recognizes and respects these histories. First up, the team I'm leading to glory, Banbury United! Banbury is a semi-pro team founded in 1931 have existed almost exclusively in leagues you've never heard of, but in 2022 they made the climb to the Vanarama National League North. Their logo depicts what appears to be a lego minifigure dressed up like a puritan. My update takes this general design and makes it look more human, giving the figure clear eyes, a nose, and a mouth as well as adding a mustache, because I'm from New England and every depiction of a puritan I've ever seen is John Carver, so you're stuck with it too. I did try to keep the general blocky style, but modernized the overall shape of the crest, with a new simplified banner and the hat extending beyond the bounds of the roundel. The jerseys feature a double pinstripe hoop pattern that I've used in my playthrough, and features Nike as the kit manufacturer and Sophos as the jersey sponsor, two brands wildly above the stature of Banbury in real life, but I have them in the EFL Championship in FM, so they make sense in that regard.
  9. The Sounders released their new logo, and it's pretty nice! The real thing is a big improvement on our previous MLS-era logo, but it could use a couple more elements and some minor tweaks IMO. So I did my twist on it, and while I'm at it, I'll post some old Sounders logo & jersey concepts that I've put on my website but haven't posted here before. They will each be paired with synergistic Reign logos, especially relevant as the upcoming sale of the NWSL team might go to their MLS co-tenants. As usual for my Sounders & Reign concepts, all logos will have color variations to show all the color schemes used by each team's alternate jerseys, retro color schemes, and holiday color schemes for July 4th, Pride Month, and Cascadia Day. Also, the numbers of the concepts are in chronological order of when I started making them, not posting order. I'll link to each of the concepts with the icons below as I post them: Outtakes and Extras: Thanks for checking it out!
  10. Since I have been posting my work on social for a while now and I "specialize" more on soccer than on other sports, I thought I would start a new thread on my soccer designs here as well. I have to clarify that everything that will be posted will be under the name "TRIDENTE" since "Cate" is the old username I used until a few years ago and I honestly haven't figured out how to change it here on the forum yet. I'd like to point out that it will mainly be a thread for jerseys and kits, but in some cases there will also be crest redesigns. All of the work posted here was created with CLO3D (nothing posted has anything to do with AI), so in case you want mockups (in some cases I can even give them away for free, others are for sale on my Gumroad account) I will tell you that they will not work in Photoshop or Illustrator. I will not post in chronological order, so it is possible that there are old works with new or unpublished ones. I will also attempt where possible to give a brief explanation to the designs. First up: Newcastle United and Slovenia. Newcastle United (Premier League) - Away kit For the England team, I was inspired by one of the kits that has remained most in the memory of Magpies fans: the 1995-96 away kit. On the back of the jersey, under the collar is also the crest used by the team during the 1980s Slovenia (National Team) - Home jersey For the Slovenian national team, I used the classic design that has been present for some 20 years with the outline of Mount Triglav, the country's symbol, repeated in different shades of blue (and white) to form a double "fading effect ". Also the other two elements of the state coat of arms, the three stars and three waves, are embossed on the front of the jersey.
  11. San Diego is heavily rumored to be the next MLS expansion club Here is what is known so far, regarding name/colors/branding and more Official MLS Expansion Annoucement / Statement Stadium: Snapdragon Stadium (SDSU San Diego State University + NWSL San Diego Wave FC) USL's San Diego Loyal is not involved - club statement start playing 2025 Name/Colors/Branding (updated May 19th, 2023) (according to SanDiegoMLS CEO Tom Penn) Name: San Diego FC or FC San Diego "should we put the Football first or San Diego" "we are gonna listen to everybody on that" Logo/Colors "Crest and Colors to be unveiled in sometime Summer/Early Fall 2023" Source: https://www.cbs8.com/video/sports/san-diego-football-club-or-football-club-of-san-diego-team-ceo-shares-new-mls-team-name-options/509-b3f46549-4d7e-40e5-93f4-3fce67f24cf0 thanks @BrySmalls Some (re)sources: https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/soccer/story/2023-05-06/major-league-soccer-mls-san-diego-expansion-franchise-snapdragon-stadium-sycuan-mansour-group https://www.90min.com/posts/mls-to-announce-new-franchise-in-coming-weeks https://www.espn.com/soccer/mls/story/4933435/mls-expansion-san-diego-has-momentum-to-become-club-no-30 https://www.reddit.com/r/MLS/comments/13fe1sf/fc_san_diego_interesting_research/ https://www.sdloyal.com/news/2023/05/10/statement-from-sd-loyal-chairman-and-owner-andrew-vassiliadis/ https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1770595/MLS-franchise-San-Diego-Conservatives-Mohamed-Mansour-Newcastle https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/major-league-soccer-awards-expansion-team-to-san-diego-x9222 https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/mls-san-diego-aims-to-build-something-special-before-2025-launch https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/right-to-dream-finds-a-natural-spot-with-mls-expansion-to-san-diego https://theathletic.com/4531733/2023/05/18/mls-san-diego-expansion-explained/
  12. Just thought I'd start a new thread on Soccer Designs. - I like clean designs, with a Factory Pomo influence, modern art influence. For emblems, I try to steer clear of the "City Group Roundel" style as much as possible - Not a fan of Stars above logos, so you'll not see any in this thread. I just think it looks tacky. - This thread is an AI Free Zone. As with so much in life, @Dril said it best. - This will mainly be a thread for crests and shirts, but other stuff will pop up. Kit designs will follow crests usually. First up is the emblem for Italian national team. This is sort of a cross between the i logo used between 1991 and 1999, and the previous crest introduced in 2017. The tricolour and gold old school football are against a navy background, I always liked how the navy on the crest looked and how it worked with the gold. I left the Italia and FIGC script off, as I think a lowercase I with the Tricolour speaks for itself. The font used for the presentation is SS Nickson One.
  13. Ligue 1 Quebec Hi, This is going to be a rework of an old project of mine. I was going to change the old thread accordingly but decided that a new one would be more befitting. So without further ado here's the league branding! I only changed the real-life logo a little bit. Since I made the original redesign, all the provincial leagues where restructured and now all fall under the League/Ligue 1 umbrella. Which is the 3rd tier of Canadian football. Teamlist CSMRO FC Laval Celtix A.S Blainville Ottawa South United A.S Royal Beauport C.S Longueuil CS Lanaudière-Nord AS Laval CS Saint Laurent CS Saint Hubert CS Trois-Rivières
  14. Hello all, and welcome to the Georgia Soccer League 2.0. Back in late 2016 and early 2017, I created a 12-team soccer league based in my home state of Georgia. After seeing @TheGiantsFan , @RevNet, and @jackkmart do some great work on their own state-specific soccer leagues recently, I was inspired to give this a second try with 40 teams this time. Now, let's take a look at the league map. In this 40-team league, there are 5 divisions of 8 teams. The schedule is made up of 46 games (14 against division opponents, one game against every other team). The top two teams in each division go to the GSL Champions League Group Stage, where two groups of 5 play home-and-home matches. The winner of each group plays in the Grand Final at Mercedes Benz Stadium to decide the year's GSL Champion. Lastly, I want to give a big thanks to @Jaffa for providing some excellent and up-to-date kit templates! Completed Teams:
  15. The CRDesigns Soccer League (yes, really) is a fictional soccer league made by yours truly that is hosted in the CONCACAF region. Each part of the region will be given 20 teams (North, Central, Caribbean). I won't be posting them in any particular order, since I plan to simulate a group draw for fun once im done. Looking to grow a lot in my Football design experience here so C&C and suggestions are absolutely appreciated! The templates that I will be using in this series are from SportsTemplates, Fifakitcreator, and a couple free ones I located on Pardosport. Without further ado, here is the league logo to start off! It is definitely simple, but I like the charm of it for now. I'll be making changes based on the feedback I get in the future. And the first team: Fresno FC! Fresno's logo takes very heavy inspiration from their flag, using the gear, the sun, and the plant that are all found within it. Their kits are primarily black and light blue, with 2 different pattern designs (Gradient stripes and chevrons). Please let me know what you think! I'm fairly new to making football concepts, I normally stick to hockey, but have found a new passion for the sport and their designs.
  16. Welcome to a new series, an alt world take on the MLS with 32 teams, and the question "what if MLS hadn't stuck a fork in the two teams in Florida? Oh, and there was 3 more teams as of present and a MLSII (which will be covered in another thread) allowing for possible promotion and relagation? And that not every new team had a European style name? And what if the MLS wasn't the only one of the five major professional sports leagues in the US and Canada that didn't have teams rocking teal?". Well, questions. Questions that I, a dude from the other side of the pond, will try to give an answer to. As you can see, we have 2 divisions of 16 teams, split east and west, and each team has an MLS logo in their colours. Some are pretty much the same as they are IRL because of brand equity, or I think they look fine as they are, or both. Some use colours that were proposed but never saw the light of day, some are major twists on existing colour schemes, and some are totally new. I'm sure you can guess the teams from the order, and some from the colours, which are those used on the home outfits. Teams get 3 uniforms, one home and two aways, generally two of the three kits will match colour and design, but there will be exceptions. All teams get two pairs of socks for each uniform, in case of a clash and also if they want to change up their stance game. I hate sponsor logos on shirts, so in this version of MLS, there are no sponsor logos on the front, just the player number and in one special case, the team name. So sit back and enjoy the ride, C&C would be cool. I'll be posting teams in no particular order. So here we go......... EAST DIVISION Atlanta United Charlotte Fortune Chicago Fire FC Cincinnati Columbus Crew D.C. United Louisville Whiteoaks Inter Miami Impact de Montréal Nashville FC New England Revolution New York Cosmos Philadelphia Union St Louis FC Tampa Bay Rowdies Toronto Towers WEST DIVISION Albuquerque Sol Austin Crown Colorado Rapids Dallas Tornado Houston Apollos Kansas City Wizards Los Angeles Galaxy Los Angeles FC Minnesota Stars Phoenix Rising Portland Timbers Sacramento Republic Real Salt Lake San Jose Earthquakes Seattle Sounders Vancouver Whitecaps
  17. https://news.sportslogos.net/2023/03/09/fa-of-ireland-launches-new-institutional-logo-national-team-crest/soccer/ New logos for the national team of Ireland. Now it's a roundel, and the lettering is simple sans serif with no Celtic influence. It's okay, I guess.

  21. It's been some time that I last posted something I designed around here. So let's have something posted (especially now that I want to reach 500 posts to get access to Fantasy Sports again. For now, I have some Association Football Logos I'll post in the next days. They're maybe too bland and too classic, but I'm not into the "brandification" of teams that is happening in these days. Let's start with Girondins de Bordeaux. If you have epilepsy or can't deal with the GIF, you can see Only the blue | Only the white
  22. Hello all, this is my first time posting on here but will not be my last. After catching the design bug from lurking the forum for years I have finally gotten the courage to post some concepts. My first project is creating my own concepts for the 32 teams participating in this years World Cup. I tried to challenge myself by keeping the designs relatively in line with each nations historical looks (barely messing with Brazil's home for example) while still making unique kits for each. Since it is my first project here comments, tips and recommendations are very much appreciated! To get things started here's a little preview of the four Group A teams that I'll be posting first!
  23. Hello everyone! I recently read about a new stadium/concert venue being announced in Milwaukee with an expected completion date in 2024. Part of the article and follow up news pieces have mentioned plans to bring a Pro Soccer team to Milwaukee. Thus far they have not said what league, but since the stadium will seat about 8,000 people it's not going to be MLS. USL Champions League or the NWSL seem like the best bets to me. The news got me thinking about what the team could look like and it brought me back to a concept I first developed and posted a few years ago; Cream City FC. It was conceived as part of a series imagining what sports teams in various leagues could look like if they were owned by the Bucks and used similar brand traits. Having had a couple years of separation and no need to tie it directly to the Bucks' branding I decided to take another shot at this concept. I give you the updated Cream City FC! Cream City is one of Milwaukee's nicknames and I think it's best one. Given the name 'Cream City', I had to have a cream color featured in it. I paired that with navy and sky blue colors based on the Milwaukee People's Flag and white. EDIT: You can see a larger post of the final Cream City FC logo designs in the last post of Page 1, and all the uniforms together on the first post of Page 2. EDIT 2: My most recent design for the 2nd concept- Smelting Milwaukee FC- can be seen here. Posts for that concept start on Page 2. As noted in the branding sheet, the center of the roundel is based on the side of a wooden beer barrel, with the blue seal around the edge and the soccer ball where a tap would be. The design above the ball (which is of course basis for the secondary logo) is a combined reference to both Milwaukee's 414 area code and the distinctive architecture of the Milwaukee Art Museum. I mirrored the 4 on both sides of the 1 to create wings similar to the museum's design.
