There shouldn't be a lottery. Use the standings as it should be. Expansion team #1 gets the 1st pick. Expansion team #2 gets 2nd, Amsterdam gets 3rd and Brooklyn gets 4th.

That's the way it SHOULD be but who knows. Whatever

I understand that, but it still promotes tanking. Tanking isn't fun.

You can't penalize a team in a fantasy league for tanking. Sure he will get a good pick in the draft but it'll still be a bad team. No worries.

Now IF he had a good team and chose to bench his stars to get a good pick to make his team better, then that is an issue.

That makes sense.

Also, I feel like the thread should move to the fantasy area. Who wants to discuss?

I'm fine with the thread being moved but would also debate that it belongs in concepts since it will eventually debut multiple minor league concepts and future uniform updates. That is up for discussion.

Yea, I agree, but the other fantasy leagues down there have uniforms too.

Do we know the playoff matchups yet, or are still waiting on that? I'm very pleased with Copenhagen's inaugural season. Top seed, fewest goals allowed, only a single digit in the losses column, and best differential by a fairly good margin. The offense is kind of average, but that defense and goaltending make up for it. #HAMMERTIME

Yes, they will all be 7 game series.

Also, the votes are tallied and the following franchises will be joining the WHL for the 1991-92 Season:

ONTARIO AMERICANS 4

Hollywood 3
Portland 3

MINSK BISONS 5
Belgrade 3
Talinn 1

And here are their logos:

The runners up will all be awarded IHA franchises.

I like the new logos. I think the Bison's horn should be either the cream or black though. It seems unnecessary for it to be white, unless white is featured in the palette.

Of course the Belorussian team is named the Bisons... Also Congrats to Patrick Roy on the Jacques Plante Trophy!

I still would've preferred Winged Hussars of Warsaw... But seriously I like the way Minsk came out...Ontario...I means it a good logo lets just hope the jerseys aren't red

Anyway Québecois let's focus on Winnipeg! Let's send Lafleur out a champion!!!

I'm still hoping for Anchorage, although I'm probably going to get Portland :(

I think a draft lottery would take the fun away. Also, this is a concept thread. It should stay in the concepts. Even if we continue to run the league this way.

I like Minsk's logo, but I don't really care for Ontario's. It's kind of bland as we get into the crazy 1990s.

For next season, will have to sign back up. I know some GMs were more inactive (not naming names) and didn't make any moves. There have been some stragglers lurking around to that might be interested. You know I'd be very interested in doing this again.

Good luck everyone! Looking forward to Prague vs. St. Petersburg cause that looks fun.
