I'm also glad Barca is out. So with Atlético there's at least one team in the semi-finals I kinda like.

I'll be rooting for Atleti to win the Champions League.

What a choke job by BVB today. I think I was the only BVB fan working at the Republic rally today, and I took some serious flak after that collapse :(

Ahh, oh well.

What a win today for the boys. First time in the Europa League semis since '10. Ive heard today's win being compared to Istanbul in '05. That's a bit of a stretch, but it certainly will not be a quickly forgotten victory. Klopp may have just gotten his signature moment (for now).

Also we all knew Dejan Lovren was a legend from the beginning don't even question it

Am I the only one that hopes Arsenal does terribly so I can laugh at people on ArsenalFanTV?

Fan TV channels need to go away forever. There's just no benefit to them existing. They just fuel the fire for rival clubs to take the piss.

Ultimately though, they prey on people with clear mental issues* for the sake of entertainment and that can't be good.

*or at least when it comes to dealing with football.

The people that go on these channels seem more ego-maniacs than mental patients so its easier for me to laugh at them.

Probably. I'm sure the Arsenal fans have bigger fish to fry, like trying to be in the top 3 and earning a spot in next season's Champions League group stage.

Sure, I agree that they are egomaniacs. Most football fans feel strongly about their team and when things aren't going well they will come out with strong opinions. I just think it's unfair that these channels have been set up to exploit fans in the heat of the moment. Originally, these fan channels used to interview all kinds of people to get their honest opinions. The channels will say that they give fans a voice to an extent it was never possible but it's now just a gawping exercise where they find the biggest trainwrecks of egomaniacs and cash in on their demise.

I don't know if I would use the word "exploited" since they probably enthusiastically agreed to be on there (some of them quite regularly). I don't feel any sympathy for the mockery those people will get.

If Arsenal crash into 5th I wonder what the Spurs version of St. Totteringham Day is?
