Several Years ago a friend and I had a college hoops "All Name Team" featuring such players as:

Bubakar Aw (Georgetown)

Scientific Mapp (Some school in FL)

H Waldman (St. Louis)

Duany Duany (WISCONSIN)

What are the best sports names you can remember?

I also like:

Razor Shines (Expos, 1980s)

Nene (Current Nugget)

Majestic Mapp (college hoops, not sure if related to Scientific Mapp)

Morris Titanic played briefly in the NHL, I believe for the Sabres.

Butch Goring (Kings, Islanders, Bruins) is the best hockey name ever.

Butch Deadmarsh (several teams NHL & WHA) was another good one.

For interesting sounds Hakan Loob & Pekka Rautakellio are favorites from the NHL.

Pretty much any NFL placekicker in the 80s. I'd list them, but not quite sure how to spell any of the names.

Like Donald Iguewbekue ?

Biggest X-rated name former NASCAR driver Dick Trickle

My Favorite Baseball name is Rollie Fingers--Great name for a pitcher...

"How did that pitch get past you?"

"I don't know--that pitcher must have rollie fingers or something!"

Favorite CFL name-Granny (Granville) Liggins

I think Steve Passmore should have played as a skater... Way better than to have that name associated with a goalie!

Four times IHL Nielson Cup Champions - Montréal Shamrocks (2008-2009 // 2009-2010 // 2012-2013 // 2014-2015)

Five times TNFF Confederation Cup Champions - Yellowknife Eagles (2009 CC VI // 2010 CC VII // 2015 CC XII // 2017 CC XIV // 2018 CC XV)
