TrueYankee26
As for UConn-Miami, unless the Canes pull out a miracle safe to say there will be no repeat of the 2006 Elite 8 where a LarraƱaga coached team (George Mason Patriots) takes down the Huskies. Dynasty
I don't even remember UConn being that great in the regular season. They tended to hover between like 15-25 in rankings and lost a couple of games where they were (or should've been) the better team. Ā They got hot at the perfect time so good for them. This tournament was still pretty fun. Ā Spoiler Sure, SDSU has a shot at beating them but you know, they won't. Ā
Germanshepherd
SDSU is a team that even if you beat them, youāre going to hate every minute of it. Itās a wonderful dynamic.Ā Quote i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscienceĀ

FinsUp1214
I think San Diego State actually has a bit of a shot Monday night. Thier defense has what it takes to rattle UConn and keep the game close, which UConn hasnāt been challenged with yet in this tournament. Also, Miami found a way to get a lot of shots in the paint off tonight, they just missed 14 of them and couldnāt make it the close game it should have been given the shots they had. If the Aztecs can frustrate the Huskies on defense and get shots in from the paint, things could actually tip in thier favor. Ā I hope, at least, that the game is close and exciting no matter who wins. Part of me still worries UConn is going to blast SDSU out of the stadium and end the wildest tournament Iāve ever seen with a total dud, but Iām also hopeful thereās still some Madness Magic left on Monday night.Ā

FiddySicks
I doubt San Diego State has any shot, and itāll probably end like TCU Georgia did, but it would be so damn cool if the Aztecs could pull it off. Thatās a great college and to see someone in the same conference as schools like Nevada and San Jose State win would be awesome.Ā Ā Itās gonna be a real bummer if a team from Storrs, Connecticut ruins our fun little beach school final four party we were having.Ā 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: Sheās still half convinced āChris Creamerā is a porn site.) OnWis97
I think UConn is something like 10-1 in Final Four games. They come out of nowhere to make a run, just like Michigan State, but then they win in all. I think they were about a seven seed in 2014. Ā I don't know the Xs and Os of these teams but San Diego State winning just doesn't seem like a thing that's going to happen.
