Mings
yeah peter eisenmann did a great job on the cards stadium, UC's school of architecture was designed by him, its an interesting building.
GeorgesL
I've been to the RCA Dome, and it's huge. But it's good the Colts are getting settled for the long-term deal. If they didn't get the stadium they needed, they could have moved to someplace where they live and breathe football, like Birmingham, AL. The Birmingham Colts...Hmm, that would have had a nice ring to it, but it won't be now.
DEAD!
Oh, I can't wait for the Cardinals' new stadium! That looks REALLY impressive now that I've seen that outside facade. The Colts' new stadium looks impressive. It does have the Conseco Fieldhouse vibe. I saw, I came, I left. Roger Clemente
Could someone post a link to the page or the pictures themselves? All I see on the front page now is nothing but news that isn't about the new stadium.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. MJWalker45
Where is Conseco in regards to the stadium? It actually looks like a train depot or a giant barn in my opinion. I think the huge opening is only to show the field, but they should take and place glass there if possible. If done right, it'd be a nice touch. sj32
Conseco is less than a half-mile (about three blocks) east of the RCA Dome / new stadium site
Cyclopsis Joe
The City of Evansville got in the same bind. They wanted a brand new Baseball Stadium for the Georgia Waves to move into..bunch of idiots protested because Casino Aztar was gonna fund it..never got built..well, that and the porno dealer wouldn't sell his land.Anyway, Indiana is really bad about that...the funny part is, 95% of the people in Evansville don't realize that most of the money for the city comes from Aztar anyway. I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.

pcgd
On those renderings, isn't the horseshoe upside down? Wouldn't you want the luck "pouring" into the stadium?Otherwise, I love it! Conceco is one of the nicest facilities. Its retro without being over the top retro. It feels like an old train station to me. I really liked it, and I like the look of this one too. Victory Field, Conceco, the Stable, man Indy is doing it all right. Here's hoping I can celebrate a move there very soon...

Its what you make of it. I had the best 4 years of my life in KENOSHA WISCONSIN of all places. But there is a very nice job possibly waiting for me there...that's why I want to go.Plus I actually know people there, unlike this pee-pee soaked heck hole. Personally, I like living in Indianapolis (despite this morning's commute in 8 inches of snow). My work involves the sports so I'm not sure I can contradict your viewpoint.
