Saintsfan
The mighty saints (ok fauir enough the mediocre saints) My own brave Southampton today signed Jamie Redknapp, the England international midfielder. He won't havbe to worry about building up a relationship with his new manager because his neww manager is.... his dad. But anyway this got me thinking about other sons who had played for there father. Australian readers may remember that England cricketer Alec Stewart played whilst he father,Mickey was coach, but I was wondering if anyone else could think of any examples from American sport of similar stuff. I know that a few of the Shula boys were assistant coaches under Don at the Dolphins. Any other similar examples??

random
The petty's were actually the first 4 generation family in any sport. Lee, Richard, Kyle, and Adam. Of course Adam never got a chance to beget a 5th generation as he died tragically in an accident at only 19 years old. Also, Baseball has the Boones who i think are a 3 generation dynasty. Adam and Brett are the latest incarnation, i think there is a Ray in there somewhere too.
