Teams that do that are not successful in the playoffs. You can not go into the playoffs rusty. You don't have time to get rid of the rust. The 1996 Denver Broncos and now the 2005 Colts are prime examples. I think starting next year you wont see that happen, look at the Seahawks yesterday they were flat for a quarter and a half. Yea if you look now the Colts are moving the ball (bad ref call aside). If the Colts don't take a month off the Colts are probably a head the entire game. It was thing thing I was amazed no one brought when there was that debate about resting players. You don't rest them to keep them sharp regardless of record. There is no way you can tell me he didn't intercept the ball. The only reason he lost it was because he was standing up to run it back... :censored:ing ridiculous. The refs should be fired.
