Discrim Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 I think you're safe from the vicious attacks...mainly cus you didn't do what I always do with UT concepts: add powder blue. seriously, that's just about the most surefire way to get folks to hate a UT concept, no questions asked. and I always do it anyway the font's questionable, I'd change it. hell, I wouldn't use it to begin with. the rest is nothing special. Just foolin' around, but I rather like the jersey.As far as the font; I just like the way the numeral came out. The names would most likely be in a more traditional font, IRL. I went to a high school where we copied UT uniforms from year to year and I always loved the thick orange stripe on the helmet and i have noticed in the last two years or so they went away from that, ut that is, I was just wanting to know if anyone here knew why they changed that?! one thing we used more than ut did was the orange pants...this pic is me on the ground against North Shore at the Astrodome 2001 (Cory Redding went there he went to Texas and many other great athletes come from there) I hope you can see the thick orange stripe...I love that and our LP (La Porte...high school of Shaun Rogers) on the side of the helmet was orange just like UT!
