After thinking for a bit, I can only really name four new stadiums/arenas/parks that have been, are being, or will be constructed in the future.

Arizona Cardinals - Cardinals Stadium, Glendale, AZ (2006 NFL season)

New Jersey Devils - Newark Arena, Newark, NJ (2007-08 NHL season)

New Jersey Nets - Brooklyn Nets Arena, Brooklyn, NY (2008-09? NBA season)

New York Yankees - New Yankees Stadium, Bronx, NY (2009 MLB season)

New... err... Possible New Pittsburgh Arena

That's really old. I believe that was the arena that was voted down (or something to theat effect). There arena plan with the Casino is different I believe.

Its slightly different but the idea is the same. They wont have the final designs until when the plan is approved. IF it is.

Pittsburgh Arsenal - Elite Football League (NFL) - est. 2006

That's not what the Devils Arena will look like. What you posted was a premliminary rendering that was part of several designs. Here is the final design.

The Mets are also building a new stadium.

Wow, that's really plane. How much is that costing?

I once had a car but I crashed it. I once had a guitar but I smashed it. I once, wait where am I going with this?

if Portland ever gets an MLB team, there'll have to be a new stadium - no way that PGE Park could ever truly host MLB, even for part of a year. If that stadium happens it'll be nice - the talks for design were with HOK I believe, and plans were to put it downtown.

the University of Oregon still has plans on the table to build a new basketball arena right on the edge of campus, replacing the nearly-century old McArthur Court (though Mac Court would be kept for sports like volleyball, wrestling, and also for university student use).

of course, turn to Europe and there are a few more, most notably (and importantly for me) Arsenal FC's nearly doubling their stadium size, from just over 38,000 at Highbury to nearly 60,000 at new digs Emirates Stadium.

also, the new Wembley Stadium will be opening later this year - it was originally supposed to be open in time to host the 2006 FA Cup final in May, but that was not to be.
