Yah the colors are great but the jerseys are so plain there isn't even and outline around the numbers and no logos on the unis. The logo is just plain stupid. There are swords going thru his head, the helmet looks messed and why does he look like hes stoned. Raiders is such a great name the logo could be some much better and much more intimadating. I dont know if your rubbing it in that the Seahawks lost the superbowl or saying that there jerseys suck. If your saying the seahawks jerseys suck i would agree. I known that the Raiders look is classic but theres nothing wrong with updating a classic look. Atleast they could have some stripping and on the jersey or some outline on the numbers. You see someone wlaking down the street wearing a black football jersey with silver numbers who instantly know it's a Raiders jersey. They change the jersey's they loose that. rebelx Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 Honestly, I think the Raiders could benefit from even a very slight change, but nothing more than outlines around the numbers or something like that (striping would be going too far, though). But I don't think anything will happen anytime soon, if ever. Al Davis may be keeping them this way for tradition's sake, but think about this as well: if your franchise had fans like that, I don't think you would consider changing your logo or uniform even a little for fear of being capped. All apologies to any Raiders fans out there, but hey, we had them too, and I would probably be making the same joke if they were still in L.A. And the uniforms are recognizable, but nothing special.Few people (especially on this board) can separate fanaticism from design aesthetics. Whenever I see a 'Best Uniforms' thread, it should read 'Rose-colored glasses uniforms' thread. I get a kick out of people saying Penn State has a great uniform. The fact is they wear a great canvas.
