FiddySicks
So far the highlights have been:Travis Pastrana's DOUBLE backflip in FMXBrian McRea ROLLING his RallyCross car and still picking up the silver, just a hair off of the Gold. (Pastrana also won this event. FMX and RallyCross, wow)Anyone else super stoked on this?

PhilliesPhan1325
I'm not really an X Games fan, but that double backflip was insane. And I hope Shawn White can land the 1080.
Seadragon76
He didn't land it last night. 18 tries for the 'Flying Tomato' to nail the 1080 and he flopped every time. But, the Double Backflip... Here I was thinking that a backflip could never be done on one of those bikes before it happened. Now, here I am thinking there's no way in hell anyone could do a double backflip. Well, guess I was proven wrong. Now, we just wait until someone has the guts to try a Triple Backflip.
Tentomushi5150
Can't forget Kevin Robinsons double flair in bmx vert best trick. And on the topic of the double backflip, I seriously worry about what doors this opens up. Since flipping entered the sport a few years ago, the crashes have gotten, at least personally, more and more jarring. The idea of somebody falling doing a move like a cordova backflip or a cliffhanger backflip is scary to say the least. I know its all in the name of progression, but I hope that if the riders don't have the good sense to retire it amongst themselves, that an organizing body bans the double backflip. I don't think creativity should be halted, and I'm all in favor of new tricks, but when the stakes are as high as they are with that trick, it's too much. Watching Pastrana's mom cry as she thought about her son attempting it said it all for me.

Tazz013
Now, we just wait until someone has the guts to try a Triple Backflip. Somebody will do a 720 in '07; a triple backflip won't be done unless they build larger ramps.

FiddySicks
I watched a bit but it just didn't hook me. Ill tell you honestly, its way easier when youve grown up Snowboarding, Skateboarding, BMXing, FMXing, and so on to get hooked. You appreciate it more. And living in Southern Cali doesnt hurt either. Mac the Knife
Anyone else super stoked on this? I don't live in California, I don't get "stoked". I'm over 24 and outside the target demographic, so I (1) don't get most of this stuff, and (2) don't give a damn.
TFoA
Here's The Video Of The RaceNow that I saw it...OMG, he rolled it, landed on the wheels, and kept going as if nothing happened. Colin McRae is a-freakin-mazing.
Sport
I liked the xgames better when they had downhill roller blading. You were guaranteed to see at least three huge wipeouts.
ZBoyer
The X Games are a waste of valuable sports time and do nothing but hog up my screen for three straight days. There's a reason why ESPN promotes them and the X Games are unparalleled - nobody cares.
