SabreGuy
Baseball:Orel Hershiser (is "from" here, but didn't live here long, and went to HS in New Jersey) Oh, no you don't!! Orel's on my list - South Jersey all the way! My kids will go to the same high school he went to. (Bonus note: I was on the same Little League team as Orel, separated by 14 years.) Hey, he was born here. So I get to claim him too. Can't argue with facts. steiny_ramone
St. Catharines has produced mostly hockey players, IIRC. While many weren't born here they did live here for a few years. Players like Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, and Marcel Dionne, to name a few. Owen Nolan grew up not far from here. Bryan McCabe was born here, but I think he moved to Calgary not long after he was born. That's all I can remember, I'm sure there are lots more. I'll have to do a little research. facespace?http://www.myspace.com/seancalcottmusic http://www.myspace.com/forgottentoys
