PeytonManningRocks
Bucs sign Cato Junehttp://www.buccaneers.com/news/newsdetail.aspx?newsid=5706It's a shame....I thought we'd be able to keep him....but we should be able to replace him in the draft with a good LB. FiddySicks
Bucs sign Cato Junehttp://www.buccaneers.com/news/newsdetail.aspx?newsid=5706HOLY FU*K!!!!!Ok this is shockingly good news. It gets us a starter to replace Niece who is, while a sentimental fan favorite, very inconsistant. And even better it gives us a replacement for Brooks once he decides to hang em up. Now hopefully this lures Doss our way as well to shore up the Safety position. Look out NFC South, it looks like we may just be back. That's some good $#*^! My boys' whole LB corps is on the way out--let me back that up...the front line (read: the vets). This is a VERY good addition. And yes, getting Mike Doss would do wonders, cuz um uh...dude that's back there now at safety...nah. So let's see...is THIS the year the Bucs draft dor DEFENSE? They've done a lot of offensive drafting the last couple years...while that D, much as I love 'em, just ain't getting no younger. Maybe ol' man Monte should get in Mr. Allen's ear a lil bit louder and get some good quality depth on the D side of the ball...and getting Cato was DEFINITELY the way to go with that. And Mr. BF56...two things. One, I am in agreeance with you that my cuzz definitely ain't getting no younger...he won't even tell us, but I think that he'll try to pump out about a good two or three more years before he think about retirement a lil more seriously. And secondly...just in reference to the whole "56" thing...take that after one of the greatest Buc 'backers there ever was, one Hardy Nickerson? *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

That was my first and last football number. I wore it from PeeWees through Varsity. Nickerson was definately one of my faves when I was younger though, and his number helps that a lot. Speaking of Nickerson, I found a Hardy RBK throwback about a week ago for $75. No way could I pass that beauty up. BlueSky
Hey, big thanks to Bucfan56 for posting an NSFW comment in 200-point font so anyone's boss can read it from their desk 20 feet away and to everyone who then quoted it. Returning to the point here, seems Saints DE Charles Grant visited the Bucs even though he's a restricted free agent. If the Bucs sign him to an offer and the Saints decline to match it, the Bucs will owe New Orleans 2 first round draft picks. Make the deal, baby. We'll be happy to take that 4th pick and add Calvin Johnson to the NFL's #1 offense. Story
Shumway
So T.J. Duckett signs with the Lions.Okay...So let's see...they get Tatum Bell, who was a good player with the Broncos (but then, what RB HASN'T been in that RB factory lately???), and pair him with a guy who has a pretty decent short-yardage runner with the Falcons (plus he goes back to the state where he was a star for the State University). Pretty decent backfield eh?Then they lose Cory Schesinger.Hmmm...Shumway, if you're out there, you care to chime in on this?Sorry, I was in Pittsburgh all weekend. I love having 2, well 3 when K-Jones gets back, decent backs, although not having a good enough o-line still worries me. I'm assuming one of the three backs is going to go elsewhere, although I have no idea which at this point(and I just got a K-Jones authentic jersey too ). Losing Schlesinger's big, although hopefully another good FB will pop up. I haven't paid much attention to who's a free agent or anything, so I have no idea if anyone's available. rams80
Rams sign LB Chris Draft to a 3 year deal and CB Mike Rumph to a 1 year deal.I don't know, both signings add depth, but Draft's relatively small size (5-11, 232 lbs) makes we again want to know how the Rams' negotiations with noted Free Safety Bilbo Baggins are going. Fred T. Jane
Perhaps if you weren't dicking around at work, you wouldn't have to worry about it.You win. [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. I'd just prefer the Rams' defenders to be bigger for a change. TFoA
I think you kinda beat me to it (since you posted it in this thread, but I made a whole 'nother thread about it), but it's basically complete. Matt Schaub is a Texan, and we just owned them for their top 2 picks.Very good trade for the Falcons, and I wish Matt Schaub the best in his future endeavors.
