I was at the game and don't remember it happening, I can not find any mention of it in any of the game stories i've read (including local morning paper). I do have the game on my DVR but I am too lazy to go downstairs and watch the whole thing, so if you could narrow it down for me it would be great. So Kobe throws an "unnatural basketball motion".... assess him a foul if its obvious, like he did against Korver, and be done with it. I don't see the controversy. People throw elbows and throw their arms around all the time... hell, Karl Malone made it a point to throw elbows constantly. The Knicks of the 90s damn near clotheslined you. Reggie Miller kicked defenders legs out from underneath him when taking a jumpshot to draw contact.Kobe should keep on doing what he's doing, and the defenders should as well. Kyle Korver, Manu Ginobili and Marco Jaric should still get up on Kobe and pressure him, and Kobe should still try and shake them off. Refs, blow the whistle if its worth it, and let it go if its not. David Stern, stop taking the emotion and physicality out of basketball... the Phoenix Suns' style of basketball is not a realistic expectation for the league. Defense and physicality is part of the game, people get hurt, big deal. Let the grown men play a grown man's brand of ball. End of tirade. College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process.
