Yeah it’s happened a few times. Off the top of my head, St. Louis Rams, Cleveland Cavs. Giants and Red Sox both immediately changed their road jerseys they clinched their first title in. Merchandise production schedules make this kinda hard to avoid. Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Silent Wind of Doom
They have a history of absolutely refusing to spell their whole name out without making it two lines, but I am really shocked that nowhere in their identity, even off their uniforms and just put on a wall in the BOB somewhere, there isn't one instance of an arched "DIAMONDBACKS" with the I as the right fang to mirror the K. It seems like a slam dunk. I guess since they won't put the full name on the uniforms they don't want to put it anywhere to show what could be? I dunno. "San Francisco" has been on uniforms plenty of times.

In Arizona we have a seating placing behind home plate (and only behind home plate) that looks like it was placed there with the sole purpose to distract the pitcher/TV audience!! You don't have this in Basketball, Hockey or Football. ...... what the are they thinking when they build these new arenas?? Basketball games literally have fans sitting on the court. When a visiting player is shooting free throws you get multiple sections of fans trying to distract them. The Clippers are purposely designing their new arena to have no clubs/suites behind one of the nets to maximize the amount of fans that can create distractions. Hockey has fans sitting right up against the glass, frequently banging against it whenever the play is close. You also get people sitting directly beside the penalty boxes. Professional athletes don't even notice this stuff.
MJD7
I’m surprised this hasn’t been mentioned yet, but Uni-Watch did a piece on the new Nike template, giving us our first look at an actual jersey. This looks to confirm that the collar insert is still there, which makes me glad I got my Twins authentic jerseys this year. Overall, I think it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some elements of the new replicas are an upgrade over the old ones, as I never liked the “stripes” effect that the material of the old Majestic replicas gave. I also like the stitched Nike swoosh and hope the new replicas will include elements such as patches & front numbers. The sleeve stripe style on the old template was better though, in my opinion: 2

I actually think it's an improvement because it makes it look less whispy and thin.

I noticed that too, but thought it might just be the angle of the photo. Assuming it is an actual change, it is a huge upgrade despite being fairly subtle. I can't/couldn't stand the old(?) version of the script. 2 Quote Most Liked Content of the Day -- February 15, 2017, August 21, 2017, August 22, 2017 ///// Proud Winner of the CCSLC Post of the Day Award -- April 8, 2008 Originator of the Upside Down Sarcasm Smilie -- November 1, 2005

I started thinking it was the angle as well, but they're in pretty similar positions, just reversed, yet the old one seems like it has a more severe skew than the new one. If you look at the new one on it's own in the picture above, without a direct comparison, it does seem less skewed than the "old" one. 3 Quote https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
Ark
Seems like an improvement if anything. The elements look more “compact” if that makes sense. Now what I am really afraid of is the new Fanatics template for NHL jerseys...
BBTV
SO there's nothing revolutionary or scary about it - though we haven't seen the numbers to see if they're perforated, which would look bah gawd awful on pinstriped teams. It's not really a new template that would cause anyone to alter their design. As long as the new-lighter material can support the weight of the Cardinals and Phillies chainstitched scripts, it'll be unnoticeable to the naked eye, with the caveat that the numbers could ruin everything. 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." AstroCree
Why does the MLB logo have to be so low? The ASG jerseys they had on sale this year were based on the new template.
BJ Sands
At his introductory presser. Craig Counsell was given a Cubs jersey without a walking bear patch on the left sleeve. Sign of an ad coming? When he was introduced in 2019, David Ross’ jersey did have the sleeve patch.

Digby
https://www.masslive.com/redsox/2023/11/red-sox-unveiling-new-uniform-schedule-including-weekly-yellows-for-2024.html Alex Cora was on a podcast and said the Red Sox are going approximately back to their old uniform schedule, with alternates limited to Fridays (red home, navy road). Now with the City Connects in the mix, those will be the Saturday homes. There's always been slippage with these guys. This sort of brings it back to how it always used to be with alternates for Fridays (and day/night doubleheaders) only. If memory serves they didn't start with jersey randomizer mode until the 2018 World Series, of all places. And the yellows were originally meant to be just the Marathon weekend series until last year those went wild too. Yac12
I also noticed the no walking cub patch during the press conference. From what I can tell it was a replica jersey and I don't think the replicas have the patch.
