TFoA
Downright classic going on in Baton Rouge right now. LSU just went up by 4 after trailing for 3 and 7/8ths of a quarter.
rams80
Congrats to Illinois. (Although Wisky was very overrated, it's still another accomplishment for this crew.)I thought massive upset weekend was last week.Looks like Callahan forgot to address the defense when he upgraded the offense. (Drinking time...) EDIT-UCLA....the wakizashis are in the locker room. Fred T. Fred T. Jane
Sour grapes, maybe?Nah.Bad Luck: (1) Les Miles should hit the casino up the road after going 5-for-5 on 4th down this evening (2) The INT that bounced off of the receiver's headBad non-call: With 4+ minutes left and 3rd and 3 on their own 25, Tebow throws an incomplete pass in which, though admittedly close, there was contact before the ball reached the receiver. Florida punts and LSU scores to make it 24-21. If the flag is thrown as it should, at minimum LSU doesn't get the short field.Apathy: After running all over the LSU defence for 80% of the game, Urban goes for the passing game for no rational reason. At that point, TMQ writes "Game Over." in his notebook and changes the channel. I was forced to endure through the rest of it, however. I for one can not wait until tomorrow morning when the slack-jaws coated in purple and gold come and tell me how LSU let Florida off easy by not beating them by 20+ and how LSU has better running QBs than Tebow.Of course, I'm disappointed every day that the entire LSU campus isn't a smoking hole in the ground, so my view may be slightly tinted. What lifts my spirits? UL beating North Texas this evening for their first win of the season. About bloody time. TFoA
Well, anybody who comes in and says that LSU went easy on Florida deserves to get whacked upside the head with a phone or something. LSU had to basically give it their all and have a lot of bounces go their way in order for them to somehow pull out the victory. Tebow put on a show though. His play was solid as usual. However, this was definitely a game that Florida should've won, considering they were leading for 44:30 of this game. But LSU showed heart of a champion, and Les Miles is probably the luckiest man alive.

PeytonManningRocks
Ugh....I haven't been this upset about a USC loss in a while....yes I was more unhappy about the Rose Bowl loss to Texas, but to lose to friggin' STANFORD?!?! THa's inexcusable.
Seadragon76
That is an inexcusable loss for USC. I guess they had a hangover from that disaster in Seattle. Here's what else I've learned from Saturday:-Is Illinois legit? Hell yeah! They are a legit threat in the Big Ten after then took down Wisconsin with a sound running game. Now, they won't win the Big Ten, but they will be in a good bowl game.-Is Kansas legit? Ehhh... Not yet. Yes, they beat Kansas State (the same K-State team who beat Texas, mind you), but who else has the Jayhawks beaten? Yeah... call me when they beat Missouri.-Congratulations to Chadron State (Nebraska) RB Danny Woodhead, who set the NCAA all time rushing record in the Eagles' game against Western New Mexico. He may not be NFL material, but this man has done wonders for a small Division II school in western Nebraska.
