?I still remember back to the time when we decided to start from scratch ? new name, new uniforms, new stadium, new facility ?- what a great stretch it has been,? said Titans owner K.S. ?Bud? Adams, Jr. ?We are excited that we will be able to do a number of things this year to celebrate our 10th season as the Titans. We have had a great deal of success on the field and connecting with our fans and it should be fun to look back at some of those moments and players that define our franchise. I would love to finish the decade as we started it, in the Super Bowl.?

The team plans to celebrate the 10th year in variety of ways. The first of these will be on the upcoming Titans Caravan, the yearly goodwill tour through the region. This year?s caravan will be pairing a number of former Titans players with current players as a way for our fans to honor past stars and meet future stars. The 10-year logo will appear as a patch on the Titans uniform on both home and away jerseys this season. The logo also will be used for merchandise and throughout the team?s publications.

The team also wants to involve the fans and will be looking for their input on their favorite players, games and moments from the last 10 years through an online poll at the Titans? website, www.titansonline.com. Results from these polls will be featured on game days and on the team?s television show Titans All Access. Other ways of celebrating the past decade are being discussed and will be announced at a later date.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

I really can't believe anyone likes this logo. They slapped a 1 in front of the logo and put the state underneath. What garbage.

My first impression was "LO"... not good. I'm not sure what LO in Roman Numerals means, but it doesn't sound good. The "10" should've been incorporated within the state.

I'll take it...

But I do think having the state on there makes it look like its saying the team's been in Tennessee for 10 years, and of course, its been longer than that.

Actually they were in Nashville for one year prior to the name change. Remember the Vandy debacle?

I came into this thread thinking "man it feels longer than that since they've been in Tennessee" and I guess this is the reason. Weren't they booed off the field when they played in Memphis though?

1. They should have used their own number font.

2. Yes I agree with others. It's forced because the logo was used for the 0. There's nothing wrong with having the logo but the use of it as a one is kind weak. Oh well. Not as bad as it could be.
