WTF lol, you act like this is a surprise.1-They're trying for the primetime spot on Sunday. They always do this for the Finals.2-The NBA Finals has a 2-3-2 format.I was looking forward to Game 5 and was kind of expecting it to go down later tonight.I would understand them having an extra day off if the teams were headed back east, but they're not. It's the Lakers by only 4 now with five minutes remaining in regulation.I would imagine the Celtics can put L.A. away if (Finals MVP in waiting) Paul Pierce can step it up right here...Yeah, Scratch that. KG failed his team tonight, especially down the stretch with bad fouls and missed free throws, in a very ugly and winnable game for the Celtics. Game 6 will be Tuesday in Boston. See Red Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 Lakers really should have taken game one but they were ice cold, and missed a lot of makable shots. So winning in Boston isn't completely out of the question... it'll be tough to win two there but if they can win game 6, I'll always side with the best player in the world in game 7.I should add however, I think the Celtics win a close one. That being said, I doubt it's going to go down that way. The Celtics played by far their worst game of the series in Game 5 and still were in it until the very end.
