DG_ThenNowForever
This should be fun. I'm really hoping for the Lakers to blitz through the Celtics in four games, but an extended series would be fun too. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

HedleyLamarr
Hmm.....do I cheer for the most selfish, whiny player in the league, or the team that has the smug, arrogant, annoying fanbase?I suppose I can stomach the Lakers winning....

They just seem to make all the necessary plays. I say BOS in 6, but I hope I'm dead wrong.
FiddySicks
I'll say this, the Celts had a scare the first two rounds then battled hard and won against one of the most experienced teams in the league. Knowing Garnett(Especially), Allen, Pierce, and Cassell, I don't think there's any possibility they let this one slip. Celtics in 5 or 6. TFoA
I almost want the Celtics to win, just so the Hawks can say that they took the NBA Champions to the limit. But, quite honestly, I could not stand to hear about that until next year. I want the Lakers to win, just because this team is a departure from the Super Lakers of 2004 that got trounced by the Pistons. Instead of trying to buy a championship, this team built through the draft, free agency, and Kobe being a catalyst by whining.
Davey
This is going to be a great series. So much history behind these two teams let alone a great rival. Its going to a great series to watch.

Knowing that this crew has ultimately failed in the clutch time and again, I'm not sure why things will change now. Especially with the disparity in coaches. Kobe, on the other hand, with his 3 rings, has been shown to actually have what it takes to win in the Finals.Lakers in 6. OnWis97
I'm pulling for Boston. I fully expect the Lakers to win the majority of the next 5 titles, so I'd rather see Boston (and KG) get one now. koizim
Regardless of who wins, we have greats storylines all around. For the Lakers, there's D-Fish and his daughter and Kobe's quest to top off his MVP season with his first Shaq-less ring. For Boston, you have KG, Ray-Ray, and the Truth searching for their first ring, the Cinderella story that is Leon Powe, and Sam I Am winning a ring in his final year. We'll either be seeing #17 or #15 depending upon who wins. It'll be a godsend for the NBA ratings-wise and I'll definitely be watching, not as a fan of either team, but as a fan of basetball.
