Firefly
Sounds like Apple is still po'd about getting sued by Apple Records and are taking out their fustration on the school.
DEAD!
I guess this BC school uses PCs instead of Macs. I saw, I came, I left.

STL FANATIC
Actually, in this case (as opposed to one a few months ago that had me shaking my head a bit), Apple may have some legitimacy to their claim.Only problem is I don't think this school could in anyway be confused with the Computer company, but does that matter? Cola
This ticks me off and is an example of when people take their mark too far JUST because they are a large corporation. Just because your company is named Apple and you use an apple as a logo should NOT mean that anyone else who uses an apple is infringing on your mark- I mean, how many ways can you really do an apple? VC//
Apple will sue anyone it seems. I wonder when they are going to sue produce farmers for using the word Apple without giving them royalties. SDX
Absolute crazy, its not exactly easy to create major differences on an apple logo are they going to sue anyone who uses an apple.
gordie_delini
i can understand why apple is bringing the suit. However, it's just a bit ridiculous. Different market, different country, and Apple's logo is so ubiquitous there's no way you'd confuse the two.

STL FANATIC
As I look more at it, its a COMPUTER school and the bevel and shape of the apple is similar.A little too far? Maybe, but there's a legit case here about the school making a connection with Apple. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
Frenchie
Apple Core! That could be the name of their new mega-speed processor.Except the first expression that comes to mind when I see or hear of an apple core is "rotten to the core"... I bet a focus group could confirm that.. @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6
