Danny Almonte's LL team used the Merriill Lynch logo.

That's because he was working there as a broker while pitching for the team.

Good topic for posting. I've often thought that many corporate logos could be team logos, maybe in an alternate universe where the corporations sponsor the teams (or, like in Japan): Merrill Lynch Bulls, Texaco Stars. etc.

That being said, here are some more:

What Charlotte's NBA team could have used:

Saw one of these on a tire cover today (main logo in center). Perfect for Broncos, would make a great helmet logo:

Great for "Bucks" or "Stags":

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.....

It is what it is.

My pick is the old Erie Lackawanna Railroad logo it was a combo of a E an L ( I dont know how to post pics but if you google erie lackawanna railroad logo you'll see what I mean)

You mean this one:

It seems a number of old railroad logos (the proper term is "heralds") could be sports logos as well. For example:

This is from the Ministry of Domestic Affairs of The Netherlands... according to this page.

I think it'd make an awesome team logo, perhaps on a helmet.

I don't have a picture, but there was one posted in the new IIHF jerseys thread, but that logo looks a lot like the Netherlands hockey logo. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this logo.
