I'm happy with the Seahawks just blanking the little Lambs at Qwest Field. It's good, but not great.

Although, I did get a kick out of how dumb the Ram coaches are on that blocked FG attempt. It's a sad moment when your coaches can't count to 11, but can count to 12.

Delhomme's still the Panthers' starter.

But Fox said Delhomme's role "hasn't changed." He compared Delhomme to Tiger Woods and Roger Federer because they don't win every tournament.

Excuse me while I have an aneurysm.

I think Tiger and Rog both would have thrown fewer interceptions though. :P

Way to look like a complete idiot, Coach Fox. ;)

It sounds like he, along with and Delhomme, will both be looking for work in 2010 -- if not sooner.

I guess I was wrong... or was I? Cutler definitely found his game long before Barbre did, but by the time Barbre finally found it, Cutler lost it again. And Rodgers, with one glorious throw, may have just ended any lingering doubts that he can win big, close games like Favre did.

Anyone that watched the Packers last year already knew Rodgers could get it done... it was just a matter of getting a defense and special teams that wouldn't cough it back up. By the looks of tonight, I'd say mission accomplished because the defense bailed out the offense a ridiculous number of times (no thanks to the zebras though). But at least Rodgers & co. finally got it together when it mattered.

Urlacher's done for the season and Tinoisamoa's out for 3-6 weeks. Let's go Bears in 2010!

With the potential of a good draft class coming through the syustem, 2009 may not be the worst year to have an injury ravaged season.

Except that "Da Bears" traded away their #1 pick in 2010 as part of the Cutler deal.

Ah yes. In that case Josh McDaniels is beginning to look like a genius lol!

I thought, and still stand by this, that I thought whoever the Broncos chose to be QB wouldn't be bad, comparative to how Cutler would look in Chicago. His INT tendencies always made me think people overrated the hell out of him(2nd in the league last year behind Lord Brett), and I was... pessimistic about the offensive talent in Chicago. The fact that Chicago flat out overpaid in terms of the draft cemented this further for me.

AJ Feeley to the Panthers

Jeff Garcia returns to the Eagles

Don't get too excited - Garcia will be here only until the bye week (at the latest). They're not giving up on Kolb yet, or starting another Donovan / Garcia controversy.

He'll be out with menstrual cramps in a week or so anyway, just like last season.

First time checking in this thread.

Does anybody have ESPN's Insider? There's a headline on ESPN.com that says "Rumors: Possible QB flips in STL/MIA (insider)", and I'm just curious if there's anything to that. I tend to doubt it for the Rams, but I'm curious.

Got a link, Justin? I just checked Rumor Central and I didn't see that headline, but there was an article on Pennington, they were talking about benching him. I gather they were just putting out the possibility of the Rams doing the same.

They realize Kyle Boller is their backup QB?

Don't have Insider, but given Bristol's track record of research on Rams coverage, I would treat anything labeled "Rumor" as pure fiction created during a Chris Mortensen mescaline binge.

I don't wanna know who their 3rd QB is, then.

Keith Null, a rookie out of West Texas A&M, who won a training camp battle with Brock Berlin. Yes...Ryan Leaf taught our 3rd QB.
