hecticbro
Half of the other teams with yellow or gold in their color scheme have done this. It's nothing too shocking.
HarperK
i think yellow alts are usually pretty cool... (West Virginia, Southern Miss...)

Thad
Who was providing Appalachian's uniforms before Nike in 2007?Depended on the sports. Football was Russell Athletic, Field Hockey has been Under Armour, and I've never got a good look at baseball/softball.

sacker12
My understanding is that the alt will be a yellow version of the current road jersey. I say that because it is easier to imagine the yellow and white being swapped. Black pants will most likely be used.

(As that photo was from 2005, I'm hoping that style choice is no longer the case.)

Sodboy13
I like it, but I don't like it as much as their Denver Gold-style throwbacks from last year.
Billy B
I like it. The black-gold-black is exactly what I wore one game last year and it looks pretty sharp. And it looks like #5 is wearing a girdle with his pants a few inches above his knee and no knee pads.

thmst30
I think I like them OK. However this better be all Nike has planned for us. I don't want App. St. to become the Oregon of the FCS. So far they have done us right though with these alts, and the very nice throwbacks they made for us last year. Nike does scare me though when they are in control of jersey design. Red Wolf
Not bad at all. Now, if they'd gone with gold pants as well like Southern Miss in last year's New Orleans Bowl, that would have been bad.
