mjrbaseball
Allentown, Pa. has a minor league team called the Allentown Ambassadors. But I don't think that's fair, because the market really has three connecting cities -- Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton -- and they all should be represented. So I think the Ambassadors should change their name to the Lincolns. Why?Then they could be called the A.B.E. Lincolns!

Stampman
Great list PHI! How could I have missed some of those myself--excellent list--and very in keeping with my original intention--you had me laughing out loud--I think some people were wondering about that (I'm in a public library waiting for the dental work effect to wear off)Bronx BroncsJuneau Whats those are my favorites from that list--but I like them all... Starchild
Some more that come to mind...Queens Queens (could be interesting for a women's franchise... or a Transvestite franchise)Rhode/Staten/Long Islanders (I'd prefer either of the three over the NY Islanders... Staten Island and Long Island aren't really NY anyway )Buffalo Buffalo (I don't know if anyone said this already... too lazy to check. Meh.)
