-kj
I liked that look better when they had yellow home jerseys, though (and not the big Vs). Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! The_Admiral
No Vancouver uniform has been good. I could deal with the current green/blue if they had a better crest, like Skating Johnny Canuck or the V-Johnny, but I don't think their navy/red uniforms ever suited them, and the red/yellow/black, with or without the flying V, was way too loud and gaudy for Vancouver and/or British Columbia. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
charger77
Agreed. The flying skate logo with yellow at home and the Vs on the shoulders is my favorite Canuck look.-Dan PotD May 11th, 2011looooooogodud: June 7th 2010 - July 5th 2012
oddball
I think perfection was their jerseys worn during the Bure era, but I still have an affection for the yellow "V" shoulder with the flying skate.
Sport
I've never thought that red yellow and black worked for a city like Vancouver. The current uniforms have stripe consistency issues and I wish the blue was a little darker. Corvus
Ah the West Coast Express years!I still wear my home white Cloutier jersey.-DanAs a bonus, it makes it impossible for a beachball to hit you. I grew up with the black gold, red and white jerseys, but I have to say the original 70's jerseys are the best overall iteration of the Canucks' uniforms. The current ones would have taken it, had they not used the Orca and combined it with a script. The 70's and current colours of lite blue, green and white are perfect for a city like Vancouver, which is on the ocean, surrounded by mountains, and in a province covered in trees, at least when we aren't clear-cutting them. The dark blue, red, and silver jerseys never did anything for me.
TrueYankee26
I've always been a fan of the current blue-green unis, and the red-yellow-black from the 90's. trueyankee26.wordpress.com

My favorite Canucks uniforms were these bad boysThese jerseys were definitly aesthetically pleasing but to me they scream "Colorado Avalanche." Got to go with the current era of Canucks jerseys as their updated colour scheme is arguably one of the best in the league. They just need to get rid of the oversized wordmark or design a new set based on their current alternate.
Corvus
I think the thing that killed the original Orca set for me was its' associations with one of the worst times in the team's history, the Messier-Keenan years.
Red Wolf
Flying skate is my favorite by far. It's a little goofy and probably wouldn't fly today, though they should use it as a throwback every once in a while.Flying skate more goofy than the Orca? For real?Yes, I believe so. But I still like the flying skate and the jerseys that went with it. It could be a partly nostalgia thing, but then again, I still look at them fondly. Whereas a lot of things from those days don't seem nearly as cool now.

DustDevil61
I like their original green/blue look best (I'm glad they went back to those colors, though the "VANCOUVER" and the orca are a different story), but the orange/yellow/black of the 80's were good, after they ditched the V look. Hockey needs more teams wearing yellow in place of white. http://i.imgur.com/Pyc5qRH.gifhttp://i.imgur.com/RDXvxFE.gif LED Sig Credits to packerfan21396

oldschoolvikings
Bring it back!I can't explain it, but I love these.I don't know why, but in every sport but football I'm drawn to the crazy 70's looks. In football, IMO all the best uniforms were from the 50's and 60's... the Rams' gold jerseys, the original Chargers, UCLA first powder blues with the white trim, the Bart Starr Packers, and Fran Tarkenton in purple pants... on and on. But Baseball and Hockey? For me, give me the Padres in brown, orange and yellow, the A's wearing gold from head to knee with the vests and that awesome bright kelly (I went back to the 60's there I guess) and, of course, the greatest baseball uniform of all time, the Houston Astros' rainbows with JR Richards pitching. And these hockey uniforms... I just remember seeing them on TV one time and thinking, is that a Hockey jersey? Where's the logo? And for some reason, that question actually made me LIKE these. Call me sick I guess. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
