NEW.ERA
That's where Brett and the offense will take the next 10 days to watch film get on the same page and go play the home opener.I guess that's what training camp was for but still. All Day was pounding that Saints front 7 like there was no tomorrow, why Bevell decided to put the ball in Brett's hands and take it away from an angry Peterson is beyond me, For once I can actually say that Brett Favre didn't feel like throwing the ball tonight. BlueSky
Not pretty, but I'll take it. Actually, it was kinda pretty the way the Saints offense imposed their will on that vaunted Vikings d-line in the second half. Love Vilma and Pierre Thomas - guys are beasts. Wonder what's up with Hartley?
NJTank
Well, that was a dud.Wake me when it's Sunday.Brutal game to watch, the highlight was the Southern Band and the Banner dropping. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
infrared41
Had to call a volleyball match tonight so I only got to see the 4th quarter. Was the entire game as boring as the 4th quarter? Because that was a colossal snooze-fest. Oh well. I'm glad the Saints got the win. All roads lead to Dollar General.

BlueSky
How about the hit on Favre when he threw the interception? Good grief, that was a shot Roman Harper laid on him, drove St. Brett back through the air into his tackle, who was blocking behind him. This doesn't even do it justice.Hit is at the end of this video.BTW, what was the deal with the Vikings running that fake screen handoff about 50 times? That was just weird. Then the Saints ran the same play, which was kind of funny at the time. And for the sake of fairness, Vilma got away with PI on his pick and I thought the Vikes' challenged catch was good - looked like his hands were under it. Other than the usual missed calls here and there (like when Will Smith got held...by his face mask ) but the officiating wasn't too bad and the umpire positioning thing didn't seem to be an issue at all.
