bb10
I wanted to keep the logo somewhat the same, but add the 12 teams.. comments? feel free to add your ideas as well..
DelayedPenalty
The T doesn't read as a T anymore, like it did with the hidden 11. Too confusing.
kmw_29
The T doesn't read as a T anymore, like it did with the hidden 11. Too confusing.I don't think the "T" is as much of a problem as the "2" is. The "2" reads like a "Z" to me. I can still read/get that the "T" is there. knnhrvy16
I think it looks fine, I can read it perfectly. It stays in line with the current while making the necessary changes, and it looks good to me. Nice work! The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.
hockey week
it loses the subtlety of the current logo. The first thing you see there is the 12, then when you try to read Big Ten, it messes with your head. I'd look to see if you could bury that 12 a little better, maybe a thinner 2? I'll respect any opinion that you can defend.
Sapphire
Use the "E" as the left side of the 2 instead..
JamieRose
I like the idea, but as mentioned, all I can see is "Big Tzen" The 2 looks a little too forced in there. Maybe try moving it or altering it in a way that makes it less noticeable.

RuffDawg
GIS for "Big Zen":Threadjack over. Carry on. There comes a point when you don't stand for the constant heartbreak anymore, and walk away.
ESTONES6
I think you are better off putting the 1 between the I and the G... Then you can use the gap in the top of the G to start the 2 going into the T. BrandMooreArt
thats about as good as its going to get with 12. what makes the 11 negative space work so well is thats its subtle GRAPHIC ARTIST BEHANCE / MEDIUM / DRIBBBLE
mbannon92
This isn't a comment on the logo, but I feel like the Big 10 and Big 12 are going to have to change their names...next year the Big 10 will have 12 teams, and the Big 12 will have 10 teams. That would be ridiculous. Nike + CFL 2015 | 2015-16 NBA Concepts | Complete College Football Redesign
GeoTheo
This isn't a comment on the logo, but I feel like the Big 10 and Big 12 are going to have to change their names...next year the Big 10 will have 12 teams, and the Big 12 will have 10 teams. That would be ridiculous. And the Big "East" will extend as far West as Fort Worth, TX (not very east), the PAC10 will become the PAC12 (Pac is short for Pacific) and it will extend as far east as Boulder, CO (not very Pacific). They're just names, ridiculous yes, but just names. As far as the logo, its a nice try, but as the others have stated the the two looks too forced. I dont think the BIGTEN should have any numbers at all in their logo, because I dont believe they are done expanding.
Kevin W.
Well, the Pac-10's name has been meaningless since 1978... The Impaler
I would like to see someone do a Big Ten Concept that isn't anything like the current. I would be curious to see some other ideas besides hidden numbers in the generic block letter logo. I really like what the pac12 did
bb10
this or the new big ten logo?? i think i just threw up in my mouth when i saw that new logo.. wow..
The Impaler
That was a big swing and a miss for the Big 10 IMO. While I am not a fan of the sublimated 12 in your concept I don't like what the Big 10 did either. The Pac 12 got it right, the Big 10 just stayed boring. bb10
I agree. I am not saying my concept is perfect by all means or would be a better fit, but the new current logo looks like it was done by a 1st grader. lol ah well..
pianoknight
I actually like the new BigTen logo. It's simple and will look great on a field, court, rink, mat, etc... 5th in NAT. The Impaler
I agree bb10, although I do like the "B1G" logo, hard to put in type. Piano, if that is the one they brand the courts with etc. then I will agree with you.
