Bollo_Sabroso
I was mostly speaking of the 2007 and 2010 ones. The others I understand because back then, state-of-the-art stadiums were different then they are now. I understand Sun Life Stadium got some improvements such as a better scoreboard, LED ribbons and other stuff, but I just can't buy it as a major stadium anymore. I've been spoiled by previous Super Bowls where they were held in massive buildings like Reliant Stadium and UofP Stadium.I definitely agree. Have you seen the proposals the Dolphins proffered a while back to bring the stadium back to world-class status?http://media.tcpalm.com/media/img/photos/2010/01/08/0109_spt_spt_stadium6_t607.jpghttp://www.sun-sentinel.com/media/photo/2010-01/51502553.jpghttp://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedailydolphin/files/2010/01/ds1.jpgAdding more seats to bring the fans closer to the field would certainly help, but the proposed roof design and the quad LED screens are too goofy for my tastes. TBGKon
If this Pepsi sponsorship is true, that would mean that PepsiCo has naming rights on both MLB venues in Florida as Tropicana is a PepsiCo subsidiary.Personally, I thought that local grocery store Publix would take dibs on the new Marlins ballpark (Publix Park sounds just as nice as Pepsi Park. Alas, maybe they're waiting on the Rays to get things situated, since their headquarters are in Lakeland, which is much closer to Tampa than Miami.I was mostly speaking of the 2007 and 2010 ones. I've been spoiled by previous Super Bowls where they were held in massive buildings like Reliant Stadium and UofP Stadium.I was just there for a Marlins game this past July, and I have to say that while I was impressed with the concourses, the actual seating interior needs help. The seats are worn out. The Dolphins logos at the ends of each row are worn of and hard to distinguish. The endzone video boards look shoehorned. God forbid, those orange seats make watching an event like staring at the sun.I can imagine a teal/green majority color scheme, with maybe the club level in orange. Island_Style
If there is a grocery chain that can afford it, it's Publix. That company has their act together.

miamimarlins
Publix has nothing to gain by buying the naming rights to a park in South Florida. there's a Publix every mile in SoFla.the source of PepsiCo was a guy on the Marlins board.& yeah, Pepsi owns a TOOOOON of . Gatorade? Doritos? Aquafina? Tostitos? any of those are just as viable as Pepsi Park.
Quillz
Aquafina would work well, it fits in with the Marlins theme.
The_Admiral
Publix Park sounds like "Public's Park," which is certainly what it is the way taxpayers were shaken down into funding this waste. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Showtime029
It's more of a metallic looking stitching that I saw, but it could have just been for the replica and not the on field. Not sure.As far as I know there are no pin stripes on the uniforms.

tubby34
The hats I just saw actually have silver on them. I thought it was going to be a flat gray.Anyone who works at lids should have seen them. Someone at sportsfanatic said they can start selling them 11/19/11 but they have recieved aqn email with their photos. Three hats is what he mentioned, and orange one. I didn't prod too much. CanesCop86
Id say that the Flat gray is actually silver and not gray plus the silver. I actually figured this would be the case. -MiamiMarlins. I also thought the silver helped the whole jersey standout out. I would consider the teal fruity before a metallic silver, but i liked both as they were. If your worried about fruity, im sure we are going to hear plenty of comments about that anyway.Oh and Tubby, Im thinking that two are the primary hats and one is the BP, what do you think?
