Canucks were the better team. They were awful for two games but 4 out of the 6 games they were the better team.BTW, any Preds fans on the boards? Chicago was the 4th best team in the West this season. Their 8-seed wasn't reflective of their actual talent level. I get to watch the Preds 6 times a year. I really wanted a crack at a tired and beat up Chicago team, especially after what they did to us last year, and wanted to see Detroit have to deal with those pesky Preds, but I'll take it. Truth is, if you wanna get to the Stanley Cup Finals outta the west, it's pretty much a guarantee that you have to get through the Wings anyway. After getting stonewalled by a rookie goalie for an hour and change?Heart is coming back from 3 down and almost knocking off the best team in the sport with a depleted roster and nothing to lose.I'll tip my cap just a bit to the Canucks, because they certainly played hard and they WERE the better team, despite my whining. I personally feel like that team would be a lot more likeable if they didn't have the tools that are Luongo and the Sedin twins...and Gillis.
