DCDuck Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 Rex Grossman was who we thought he was. It's pretty evident now that the Skins started 3-1 in spite of him, not because of him. He was playing the entire time like he was trying not to lose his job... which he probably did with his dreadful performance today. I was afraid Shanny would stick with him, even after that fourth pick. Truthfully all four of those picks were all Grossman's fault, balls that should have never been thrown.The John Beck Era begins today. He had a lot of poise and didn't get discouraged when our receivers dropped a couple gimmes (Stallworth?! Please!). I'm actually looking forward to seeing this guy develop. (I can't call him a "kid" as he is five years older than I am. Gotta love those BYU "missions" resulting in players graduating when they're 27 years old.)
