The SWC crumbled and turned into the Bevo XII.I swear I'm not looking to pick a fight here, but Texas and Oklahoma dominated the Big XII (from an administration standpoint) because they were allowed to. Their power was a result of a pattern of indifference and borderline laziness on the part of the administrations of the other 10 schools over a long period of time. If Colorado, A&M, Mizzou and Nebraska had taken stands on issues in the 90s, they wouldn't have felt the need to take their balls and go home in 2010-12. They let Texas and OU become their own monsters off the field. What was amazing to people here in the SEC was how those other schools allowed Texas and OU to run things, even as their football programs struggled in the mid 90s. I am guessing a matte version of their current helmet and maybe even a matte white alt helmet since the original vertical stripe unis were paired with a white helmet. What if the vertical stripe jersey is just a kind of throwback like Michigan and Notre Dame did last year with the regular uniforms staying virtually the same with just a pant stripe?
