RyanMcD29
Islanders lose their 5th straight by getting shut out by the Jets. And with that the Isles are in last in the Eastern Conference. Nice to know this rebuilding process is leading straight to another rebuilding process with the lack of goals the team's scoring. Surprisingly, though, the carousel of goalies isn't the problem. The Isles are among the league's best in goals allowed. The offense hasn't even scored 20 yet, though. Twitter: @RyanMcD29

The_Admiral
I said it after the game in Phoenix, the game in Dallas, and I shall say it again after this game in Miami: if you can't maintain an ice surface worthy of a goddamn rec league, get the f-ck off this circuit. Tired of watching finesse teams like the one I like blow sure wins because the puck has thawed into a super ball. This dump makes Soldier Field play like the Metrodome. Jesus Christ. Embarrassing for the Hawks, Panthers, and league alike. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

It's Iginla's month, so at least we don't have to worry about him anymore and Detroit is sucking right now so, makes up for Wednesday crap show.Back to Phaneuf, I haven't seen him play too much since he got to Toronto, but all I know is he's focusing much more on his defensive game, something that alluded him in his closing days here. I think once he finds his defensive game again, his natural ability to absolutely kill the puck will come back. It may not be like the Gilmour trade, but it does have that feel to it. Braden
I know that Leaf fans can get pretty annoying and I apologize for adding to their November cheers.Even if their schedule has been quite light to start the season, it's been nice to see the Leafs play great hockey so far. That Kessel/Connolly/Lupul line is flat-out DEADLY.
Sodboy13
You know, Porter is running some obscenely cheap fares to Toronto. What are the odds of me scoring Leafs tickets for a Tuesday night game against the Canes in march? BrySmalls
I wouldnt mind seeing Shea Weber in a Caps jersey, but not at the expense of Mike Green who is an RFA this year and would have to go to make room for Weber. For the the offensive prowess and inconsistent defensive play that Green brings each game - when healthy, I wouldn't mind seeing him go elsewhere if that means acquiring Weber.
