Speaking of that, anyone got any good ideas on who the Jets should bring in next season to play quarterback? They're still not a terrible team despite the insanity of this season. If they brought in a solid veteran they could still be pretty competitive IMO.

Whoever it is won't be expensive. Kyle Orton comes to mind, but I don't know his contract situation in Dallas.

He is signed to the Cowboys for two more seasons. It was a 3 year/$10.5M contract, but it included a $5M signing bonus, so any trade would accelerate the cap for any new team.

While were on the topic of former Bear QBs, maybe Rex Grossman? The Jets would have 2 Sexy Rexys.

That one of Tebow in a Packer jersey, is Aaron Rodgers. I have a signed portrait of it.

In shocking news that is taking the sporting world by storm....

....Y! Sports says Jets are "exploring possibilities of parting ways with both Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez."

What are they possibly going to get in return for Sanchez?

The Jets would gladly take a 6th or 7th rounder for Sanchez, considering it would save them a billion dollars against the salary cap next season.

Yeah, it is about unloading money.

It is not that simple. If gets traded (or cut), the cap hit for the Jets accelerates. They would be charged essentially double his 2013 salary.
