From U.S. Olympian to Las Vegas escort

One of Wisconsin's best-known and beloved native athletes, Suzy Favor-Hamilton is lucky this story went public when it did, as her home state is currently preoccupied with a huge snowstorm, the Badgers' incoming football coach, and that whole Mayan end-of-the-world thing. Otherwise it could have put Wisconsin into quite an uproar.

The 44-year-old Favor Hamilton, a Stevens Point native and former University of Wisconsin track star, admitted to working as "Kelly Lundy" with Haley Heston's Private Collection, one of Las Vegas' premier escort services, in the thesmokinggun.com story.

Yes because someone suffering from mental issues just needs a bunch of ass-clowns puffing themselves up with false indignation just because they happen to share the same state as her or went to same college over actions she did when she was clearly not in the right frame of mind.

Yeah, I really doubt this would be huge deal in Wisconsin either way. If not for my mom being a competitive runner whose actually beaten her in a few races, I probably wouldn't even know who Suzy Hamilton is.

Besides, escorting isn't the same thing as prostitution... especially not in Vegas, where prostitution is legal anyway.

I don't see what's wrong here. She admitted that she was an escort at one time and now she has moved on.

Admitting you made a mistake is the first step to fixing the problem (to which she is seeing a psychiatrist for).

Actually its not. Its banned in Vegas, Reno, and Carson City, but legal in the other parts of the state(where nobody lives).

And, as the article mentions, the agency was based out of Vegas but she also worked in other cities, "including Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston."

Maybe not in the abstract, but... Yeah, it is.

And that's what we're talking about here. The article makes that pretty clear. "Escort" might be used euphemistically, but she was a call girl.

True but there are brothels just outside of each of those cities, such as in Dayton and Stead. Nevada is a weird state.

Certain parts of "Vegas," (such as the strip) are technically outside the City of Las Vegas' borders though.

This whole story is weird and I don't know where to approach it from. Her husband knew what she was doing, but wasn't happy about it? She used her escort job as a means of combating post-partum depression? She told some of her johns who she actually was? There's a whole bundle of messed-up in this story, and I only imagine it's going to get stranger and sadder as the layers get peeled back.

The Strip, and the hotels mentioned are still within Clark County and prostitution is illegal in Clark County. However, escorting is not, but both Pandering (aka 'pumping' what the service she was booked through does) and any exchange of money for $ex is illegal in Clark County.

If she was arrested for prostitution, she would be charged only with a misdemeanor.

EDIT: Her Big Ten Icons page seems to still bu up but no video can be accessed on BTN2GO

And at the 0:30 mark, whose idea was this?
