CS85
Per ProFootballTalk.Packers are supposedly in the lead to land Steven Jackson. I am totally okay with this.Colts tweeted about a "huge announcement." Doubt this is it, but OT Gosder Cherilus is a Colt.Titans continue their big day by replacing Cook with former 9er Delanie Walker.Bears apparently are in contract talks with OT Jermon Bushrod, makes sense. Lights Out
Broncos land big money guard Louis Vasquez. 4 years, $23.5M, $13M guaranteed. The Chargers' remaining O-line might be the worst, ever. Wow. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

cameroncrazie07
Has NFL free agency ever been this fast-paced? I feel like many of the top players have already been signed but maybe it's just me. Titans have to be the big winner so far getting Delanie Walker and Andy Levitre. The Core 4 Sports Podcast Twitter

dfwabel
It seems faster paced since:1- Agents for UFAs and teams had the last 72 hours to field offers.2- They smartly changed the signing time from midnight to mid-afternoon so they are in the heart of the newsday. Not sure if that's a record or not, but this feels about normal.------Hearing Dolphins may sign TE Cook. They'd have a hell of a day if they get him, at least on paper. Overpaying out the ass, but good for them if so. Maybe.Edit NVM, Rams get Jared Cook for 5 years.Bears have reached a deal with OT Jermon Bushrod for 5 years.Dolphins release Karlos Dansby. Kramerica Industries
Ravens lose another guy. Ellerbe to Dolphins. Can't fault them on that one. Ellerbe does not strike me as the kind of guy to give that kind of money to, when the cap situation is as limited as it is right now.
CS85
Packers miss out on Chris Canty, who signs with the Ravens.Just to give you an idea of how much it took to get LeVitre, for the first two years of his deal, LeVitre will get paid $13M in 2013, $19.5 in '14. God damn. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board.
