HedleyLamarr
Unless the committee doubled-up on SEC teams in this last fourth of the bracket, Kentucky's not in the tournament.....
Cujo
Why is Miami (FL) only a #2 Seed???!!!A #2 is pretty good!In the end, I've never heard the excuse "We would've won if we were given a 1-seed." Miami has nothing to be bent about.
Raysfan12
New Mexico shouldn't be taken lightly and to me, is a sleeper for the Final Four.
thespleenenator
Alright, how in does Florida get a 3 seed, and Ole Miss get a 12 seed?! None of this tournament is making sense. Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. Maybe the committee made up their minds before the conference tourneys began.
Lights Out
As expected, the Mountain West got 5 teams in. Good showing for the most underrated conference in college hoops. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
Cujo
UCLA 6Arizona 6Colorado 10Cal 12Oregon 12The only Pac-12 team the committee got right was Colorado. They should all be in the 8 to 11 range.
dbadefense1990
Oh hardy har har, of Jim Nantz calling the West Region (Sweet 16 and Elite 8 played in Los Angeles, thank you very much) the "weakest." But it also means we probably get the closest, most compelling matchups and upsets, so ha!!!

Seadragon76
If there is an upset brewing, there are two games in my mind that would be good for that moment: 11 seed Bucknell beating Butler (After this game, everyone will learn who Mike Muscala is... and whoever gets Bucknell next will have to fear Muscala) and, since we need a 12-5 upset, how about Ole Miss over Wisconsin. rams80
How the hell does Oregon get a 12 seed, and UCLA get a 6 seed? Oregon got the same seed as Akron. How does that make sense at all?Lessee....you didn't win a weak ass Conference despite sweeping UCLA, and the most challenging non-Conference opponents were Cincinnati (which you lost to), UNLV, and *shrugs* Vandy, I guess. rams80
Why is Miami (FL) only a #2 Seed???!!!They may be dancing, but that loss to Florida-Gulf Coast still looks really bad. As does that home loss to Georgia Tech and that away loss to Wake Forest. Let's start with that. Can you name examples that got higher seeds that didn't win a better Conference or something else of note?Oh, and Cal might want to investigate that 8-5 non-conference record. At least they scheduled slightly more ambitiously than Oregon, but, um, they kind of lost to every team that posed a challenge. And then finished the season poorly. Billy B
I thought Illinois got a 7 seed and I think their draw is about as good as they could have realistically gotten. If they play well (and that doesn't always happen) they should take care of Colorado. Colorado is pretty good statistically on defense, but it looks like they struggle to guard the 3 which should play to our strengths. I think it will be good for this team to get out of the grind of the Big Ten schedule and face someone new. If they hit their threes, they should advance and Miami is the 2 seed I wanted to see most. Schedule tough games non-conference if you want to be rewarded on Selection Sunday. For the record, I'm picking Oregon to beat Oklahoma State.
