Saintsfan- hey snivels is the time machine ready?

Snivelling assistant- sure is! Finally fixed and everything!

Saintsfan- good, because I am giving the members of the ccslc a once in a life time opportunity! You can borrow the time machine and go watch any sports event from the past that you want to! Where are you gonna go?

Sniveeling assistant- Hey guys don't forget its bet not to mess around with the space time continuum so don't go talking to other people while you are there!

Lake Placid, Winter 1980.

Miracle on Ice.

Imagine being at the most important sporting event in American history?

'32 World Series, Game 3, or 7, I think it was 7...

I'd go there to see if the Babe really called the shot, because that is obviously the greatest mystery of the world today :P

1908 .......... Cubs win the World Series! :P

You could fast forward to October 8, 2116, when the Cubs are slated to win their NEXT World Series. :P

Moscow, 1972, Game 8

or Chicago Stadium, 1971, game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals

or 1989 Montreal Forum, Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals

or Empire Stadium, November 1971 Grey Cup

or Toronto, Sky Dome, 1992 Grey Cup

For pure history I'll go with Moscow...

I would more than likely go to a Pirates event, so here's my list:

1882-First Alleghenies game

1903-First World Series game (either in Boston or Pittsburgh)

1909-First Pirates Championship, I've always wanted to see Cobb and Wagner play.

1927-To see the Yankees' Murderer's Row beat the Bucs

1960-Game 7 World Series, need I say more?

1972-To see Clemente's 3,000th, and final, hit

1992-To feel the excitement of seeing a winning Pirates team for the final time in the century.

I'd also like to see the Immaculate Reception, that'd be awesome. Or watch an NHL game that happened in the league's early years.

take me to South Africa, the year 2010. the United States soccer team has put in endless years of work for the respect of the footy world. the plan is for all of it to culminate in our first World Cup. It is Project 2010, and the world is watching to see if these efforts bear fruit.

Hey Abbey, can I hitch a ride with you? Can my wife and dad-in-law come along too? :D

I'll add to that:

1933: the first Pirates (Steelers) game

1975, '76, '79, and '80: All the Super Bowls the Steelers won

1979: the last time the Bucs won the World Series

1991 and 1992: to see the Pens lift the Cup!

And I'd probably try to change history... go back to '92 and run out onto the field and trip Sid Bream.
