Canucks logo seems unnecessarily low to me as well

This whole thing is so underwhelming... Calgary looking as horrible as before, Edmonton with a huge downgrade, Vancouver kept the script, Ottawa look like they simply haven't gave a :censored:, Buffalo kept the front number and silver, Rangers added grey, New Jersey look like absolute :censored:, Washington couldn't let the Edge mess go, Los Angeles kept the piping and missed a golden opportunity to match hem stripes, San Jose still look like they are only practicing, Flyers still look like a cheap 1990 pee-wee team with their stupid contrasting nameplates, Anaheim still look like crap and Boston went with the worst travesty of them all with the black socks. I can't believe how many missed opportunities there have been yet.

Who would have thought Colorado, of all teams, would be the undisputed winner today... Crazy

Ageed. Gorgeous. I am so happy the unnecessary piping is gone and the mountains are back.

Those Colorado jerseys look great but why white numbers outlined in silver? Would have preferred blue outline

So my breakdown on some of the changes (or lack thereof):

Hurricanes: glad they came to their senses. Wish the warning stripes weren't the same color as the jersey, but at least they're back.

Devils: giant face palm. Huge step backwards. Go from Top 5 jersey in the league to something that looks like they had it laying around from the edge takeover.

Capitals: just transferred over the old design. Terrible.

Senators: lol.

Sabres: upgrade, but I think they forgot to remove the front number with the piping and pit stains.

Predators: thought removing the piping was all they needed to do but something seems missing up top.

Avs: everyone should be jumping for joy at this. Mountain pattern is back. Edge is gone. No navy, no Rockies logo.

Wild: All they had to do was make a green version of the road. Instead they just go do and do what Florida just did.

Vegas: Actually like these. Solid uni.

LA: why not added a waist stripe.

Canucks: still have that stupid Vancouver script.

Oilers: still don't get going to orange. Meh.

Sharks: Still no waist stripe and that pointless orange remains. Like the new patch though.

Flames: ditto Ottawa.

Anyone have Bruins road uni yet? Actually anticipating some major change.

Looks the same. I assume numbers will be black and gold, no white middle outline. Socks will match jersey sleeve and waist stripes.

"...this uniform platform change did provide an appropriate opportunity to simplify the coloration of the number & letter systems, improving arena and broadcast readability. In addition, the team updated both the home and away sock coloration to mimic the respective jersey sleeve striping pattern."

Why? It's the same as before, without the piping and armpit stains.

Silver still looking absolutely out of place taking a huge chunk of what should be navy in the striping.
