Is Ohio State on NCAA probation yet?

If not, should the Buckeyes be on that list?

Absolutely. Outside of absolute homers who think they can do no wrong, like willmorris is to the SEC, no one thinks that Ohio State is innocent. They :censored:ed up and they need to pay for it.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Either OSU is taking massive sanctions or the NCAA will make finger guns at them while administering the death penalty to half the MAC. It's hit that point.

Ohio State should get similar sanctions to USC. This 5 game :censored: is ridiculous. On another note, CLIFF HARRIS FOR HEISMAN WOOOOOOOOOO!!!! OK enough homerism for now.

I think the NCAA will sanction Tressel and ban him from coaching through next year, 2012. It'll be interesting to see if Ohio State just has Fickell take over or if they'll open up a bigger search afterwards. The NCAA has already said Ohio State is off the hook, only Tressel is really in trouble with anything. And if anyone thinks that their athletes have not been doing the same thing Smalls admits too is a fool.

I'm going to come out and say this and I know it'll tick a lot of people off, but when you see programs out of control like USC and Ohio State and whatever SEC program you want to name, they just get off scott free with NCAA sanctions. What the NCAA needs to do and do it now, is to start handing out Death Penalties. You start killing programs for one year, and it's going to make people think before they start doing things. The problem is the NCAA saw what happened to SMU (SMU sat out a second year), and is scared to do it again. Actually, it's what needs to happen. You need to put the fear of God into these programs, and the NCAA is like a step-parent trying to tell a kid to stop screwing up their lives. The kid is just going to laugh, flip them off, and then continue doing what their doing. The NCAA needs to start suspending programs for a year the first time 3 years the second time for major violations and a complete ban a third time for major violations, and banning coaches for a lifetime for rules violations and uncontrolled programs.

I don't know about death penalties, but yeah, the penalties should be much stricter. Tressel should be terminated by the NCAA. and the tat five should be suspended for much longer than 5 games.

Good move. there should be a rule that any program that won some kind of championship while major violations were occurring should be stripped of it.

Can I legitimately suggest that Jim Tressel should become the first head coach in NCAA football history to be given a show-cause penalty?

Yes, and you would be right in doing so.
