Nashville actually gave Buffalo a first rounder for Paul Gaustad. Wow!

That + Weber & Suter BOTH staying put pretty much confirms that they're going all in for this upcoming playoff run. They did not deal a single player who is currently on their team, yet still made additions.

It's gonna be fun to see how Polie's deadline deals pay off.

I like what Nashville did, they're going to be quite the hard out come April.

Further incentive for the Blues to actually win the damn division.

One lap in and we have our first crash!

The Blue Jackets crashed a long time ago but I think you have the wrong thread my friend.

I like what the Flames have done, that team is definitely a contender as is

What could they trade? Hardly any assets currently, without trading the future, they did their moves throughout the year, and once they get healthy again should see a difference, might be too late though.

I'm okay with them not doing anything, just ride the season out.

I hate saying it, but this year it's the Canucks to lose.

Until Luongo inevitably chokes again.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

This team is not looking to the future. They've kept the same core since the lockout which has not won a series since then. They need to accept the fact they aren't a contender and rebuild... otherwise they are just prolonging the pain.

Of course it isn't. Still they'll have money this summer to do something, I agree that a rebuild is needed but not necessarily a full one though.

EDIT: 4 straight games, 4 straight blown leads. :censored:

So, Lundqvist for Vezina?

He seems to have run away with it, but there are a lot of goalies putting on amazing seasons this year. Lundy, Rinne, Elliot, Halak, Howard, Quick (too bad his team - with all that offensive potential - can't score). They're all having career years.

Sucks that Columbus is closest and I can basically only see the trainwreck that is Steve Mason

The Wild traded away Nick Schultz yesterday, who was the last player from the inaugural 2000-2001 squad. I hope this signifies a new beginning for this team. Mediocrity (I'm being generous with that description) is not good enough in the State of Hockey.
