    If you want people to use the search feature rather than start new topics, maybe make it so you don't have to wait a whole minute between searches if you want to fine-tune your criteria. It's ridiculous. Not only that, the last few times I've tried to use it, it tells me "wait 1 second before searching again" and then "wait 14 seconds" and then 11, then back to 14, which is it? Are people really bogging down the system by searching too frequently?

    Not sure how all of those are "associated with failure". The WFL? Is that logo really associated with failure? Was the WFL truly considered a failure? I don't know the story behind the Target one - help me out? The 2020 NFL Draft? First, it's the same logo that's been used for lots of drafts, so hardly associated with just 2020. I don't consider the date a significant part of the design. Second, it's the highest rated draft ever, and is receiving a ton of praise, and at worst, has inspired a lot of discussion.

    Now I’m getting hijacked by things that say that malware has been put on my phone by adult sites, and I need to install something on my iPhone. It’s clearly a scam. I do not have any issues like the ones that I and other people report here on absolutely any other site I visit. None.

    Yes. I think sometimes the ad at the top of the screen changes between really big ones and smaller ones, and makes the screen jump a lot. I can't tell you how many times I've clicked on the wrong thing because the screen jumped right as I was about to click. It's that way on mobile too.

    I've been getting the Chrome "aw snap" message a lot lately with this site. I updated chrome and cleared cache, and it's still occurring. Started yesterday evening.

    Frankly, anyone that thinks that uniforms need some ad or supplier mark, and look better with than without, should resign from the forum. There's opinions and then there's just craziness.

    He's good, but is any announcer worth that much? Even with the sick money that the TV deal's generate? Is the audience going to plummet if they put me in there as the lead color guy? People aren't going to be like "well, I'm not going to watch the game of the week because BBTV is the color guy". You could literally put a robot in there and the ratings would stay the same.

    IT's relative. CBP is around 44k and I think that works for them. Making it smaller is like saying that you don't expect to often have good teams. Making it bigger is like saying you always expect to be a contender. That might work for some teams, but I think 44 is the sweet spot for the Phillies. The downside is that when they're good, the secondary market is obscene because they'll sell out 5 or more straight seasons. The good side is that when they're usually bad, even 25k doesn't look too bad in a 44k park (except when most of the premium seats behind home plate are empty - that's certainly not a good look.

    BBTV saw, whilst sitting on a bench sipping cappucino in Riga Latvia, a Dinamo Riga team bus with Arturs Irbe's (among others') image on the side pass in front of him. Not certain but pretty sure that Irbe was the first of said Latvian goalies.

    That's not how it works. Unless it's in the contract, it's not like those companies own the designs or individual team branding. They do what the league tells them to, and just slap their logo on it. The league can leverage their in-house design teams, but I'm not sure why they'd want to when they just made a sizeable investment in branding.

    Not sure how you expect anyone to answer if you don’t post the proposed name.

    Of course he's going to say that. He has to. Either Tampa will et scarred and pony up for a full-time park, Montreal will get excited and just build something that would allow them to have the team full time, or it actually happens and becomes a case study. I doubt that any of them actually think the split-season thing will work, but the more they support it, the more likely the local gorernments will seize the opportunity to build a new dome stadium.

    I never thought they were the best, but I really liked them too. Even in hindsight, I think they're salvageable with only minor mods. The biggest being removing the black side panel from the teal one. I think that's a popular opinion. The blue version of it (once they scrapped the wordmark in the diagonal stripe) was also sweet. The black mucked the whole set up though. The Braves wouldn't really be a problem if they just retired the chop and didn't come out with stupid hats like the cancelled one from a few years ago. In a vacuum, I don't think there's much issue with their current branding - at least I haven't heard much about it.

    I think it's just up to your personal preference. I like the option 4 look best (black pants, white center stripe, white socks), but the inverse stripe and red socks is fine too. My 'rule' is just that - mine. It's by no means an objective design guideline, just my preference.

    I was thinking the point would go down, but I also really like the way you did it. The only thing is that IMO if the stripes are wider at the bottom, then the middle stripe shoudl probably match the socks - which I think works well the way you did it... as long as they don't decide to mix and match. WHen you look at when the current set was unveiled, the pants were absolutely designed to go with certain color socks - they then deviated from that. Notice how the wide part of the stripe matches the socks.
