leopard88
If I want to find a hidden element that probably really isn't one . . . the shading above the head looks very, very vaguely like "H U".Overall, I like it. However, I don't like the way the left side of the head just sort of disappears into the body. DCDuck
I'm interested to see what they do to the floor at The Hump. Not that anyone will see it in person during game action or anything...
1insaneguy
This doesn't look like Marshall's logo to me. It's finally unique but not breathtakingYes finally someone gets it...
4_tattoos
Wondering which logo they'll put on the football helmets. Bison head or the full body charging bison. Hotter Than July > Thriller
the_grateful_ted
I'd say bison head. I don't think the bison charging will be featured anywhere prominent on the jerseys
WavePunter
I wouldn't be surprised to see the full body bison since it's essentially the same pose as their previous logo, just no longer a ripoff.. It could add some cohesion to their brand history by bridging the gap with a similar looking helmet, albeit with the new custom logo.. Not to mention, I think it would be pretty sharp
jaha32
From the mothership:Seeing this full bodied version makes me like the set much more. The way each point comes to a slight curve rather than your typical sharp point gives the fur a unique feel that looks very slick. C-Squared
Dat wordmarkIf I recall correctly, Howard had that logo before the Bills... its obvious who took it and ran with it, though... love this look for Howard, a perfect modern college update My TeePublic Shop My Instagram Art Page
Burkell007
Is there a logo sheet with use in multiable colored backgrounds, like blue and red?
DCDuck
Howard had it before the Buffalo Bills, so it's not a ripoff, but HU isn't going to fight the NFL when the school is already in somewhat of a precarious financial position.
Gothamite
Howard had it before the Buffalo BillsNo, they didn't. It was designed by a commercial artist named Stevens Wright for the Bills. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9682706/uni-watch-remembering-stevens-wright-created-buffalo-bills-logo-much-more The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! 4_tattoos
According to the logo guide sheet on Howard's athletic website (new logo announcement post), the lighter shade of blue is called "Bison Pewter". Hotter Than July > Thriller

MJWalker45
So the logo has no red but the rest of the uniform does. Why couldn't they figure this out when ordering new uniforms?

WavePunter
Could be involved in striping if they have stripes on the helmet..
4_tattoos
Doubt it. Howard never had stripes on their helmets since I've been following them.... Also, the last few seasons Howard has worn the Bills logo on their helmets without a red streak (white instead). Red still remained an accent color on the rest of the uniform Hotter Than July > Thriller
