Indigo
But if you to feel the need to tweet something about this (because he doesn’t have to) why not send get-well wishes and prayers to Hamlin before worrying about the schedule? Skip Bayless is a terrible person, and I’m ashamed that he claims the Cowboys.

DoctorWhom
The closest thing to something like this that I can remember is when WWE's Jerry Lawler had a heart attack live on air. All I can do is get to bed & hope for good news tomorrow.
MellowTheMyth
DeMar Hamlin’s injury and subsequent response maybe one of the most scary & somber things I’ve recently seen in football. I hope his condition improves & he makes it through.

The_Admiral
There's still that extra week between the championships and the Super Bowl, right? I would wash out the next week and move everything back a week. Even if he survives, I think everyone needs some time to regroup. 2 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

DCarp1231
It’s shocking, but not surprising that the NFL themselves instructed the teams to warm up for play resumption until the coaches stepped in and said “:censored: this”. The worst part is it seemed like such a normal play. You have to wonder what the hell truly happened.

If they knew he was likely to die, I don't think they would have said "well, five minutes, back at it." Even the NFL isn't that callous. It looks like he took a shoulder right in the chest and it stopped his heart. You have to be surprised it doesn't happen more often. 1 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
There are all kinds of theories I've read on reddit, including the theory he took a blunt hit to his heart and it stopped it. The other theories on reddit are some truly craven nonsense about vaccines. Incidents like these prove Twitter's positive and negative value, with all kinds of info streaming out into the world. The most recent of which is there will be a hospital press conference later tonight. 2 Quote 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

For example,Jeremy Renner is in the hospital in Nevada and he's in critical but stable condition. We'd all do well to stop speculating. Far as I know, none of us are medical professionals. Sounds like the youth baseball player who was hit in the chest by a pitch and died from his heart stopping. Freak accident we were told, but many kids started wearing chest plates under their jerseys after that.
