The Germany and Mexico games are also fun. The telecasts and crowds are indistinguishable from any domestic games. Maybe they'll cut to a chav going "FOOKIN ELL MATE LUV ME BUCS SIMPLE AS" into or out of a break, but if you told me the game this morning was in Nashville at the Titans' new stadium to replace the one that's already collapsing 23 years in, I'd say sure, far as I can tell, yeah. 1 1 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

FiddySicks
Gonna be a lot of talk about he “the refs ruined this one”. Lol, no. The Niners ruined this one. Uninspired performance and just abysmal coaching in the second half. It’s amazing for how good Shanny is, he still has these panic spirals. Browns had zero business winning that game. 1 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) That aside, the best part of this win is I didn't have to watch Deshaun Watson. Honest to G-d, I'd rather go 6-11 with a bunch of guys named P.J. Walker at QB than 11-6 with Watson at QB. 3 Quote All roads lead to Dollar General.

The defense got gassed and got stupid, because the offense could only do three-and-outs for most of the second half. Granted, two of the best players getting injured, but coaching around those issues should have been a priority. It's also a huge credit to the Browns' defense, who deserve a better offense. The trap game trapped them, and now it's on to Minnesota. 1 Quote MLB: Project 32 (Complete), MLB: The Defunct Saga (Complete)

I mean, if we're going down that road, what if Nick Chubb had been healthy for this game? As much as it disgusts me to say it, the Browns would have been better with Watson at QB. The Browns best O-lineman was out today. Shall we continue or do we want to agree that teams have to play with the players they have available and leave it at that? 2 1 Quote All roads lead to Dollar General. CMC and Deebo, their two biggest weapons, left the game hurt. SF wins if those injuries don't occur. But even being shorthanded, the Niners lost to PJ Freaking Walker. Unacceptable. 3

Refs aided the Browns on their final drive and the Niners are in GW FG range as I type this. Also, Cleveland gave $230M to an alleged rapist and and nearly beat the mighty 49ers with an XFL washout. BBTV
There are times where injuries are flukes and legitimately bad luck. But when you bet your season on a guy with a pretty extensive injury history and don't have the depth behind him, you can't blame a loss on an injury since that was risk that the team consciously took. Eagles potential HOF RT Lane Johnson just went out with an ankle. His backup blows While he's never hurt his ankle, he's missed games each of the past few years (though he came back to play last playoffs with a torn abdomen). If that costs them, I can't say "yeah but Lane.." BBTV
Also when 49ers were whining about "we'd have won if Purdy didn't get hurt", that neglects the fact that the OL is part of the team, and couldn't protect him, so while the injury shouldn't have been expected, was a highly-possible outcome of a great pass rush going against a lousy line. The 49ers probably wouldn't have won, but the blame goes on the OL, not on Purdy's injury. The players aren't against an 18 game season. They just want to be paid for an 18 game season. The NFL wants to convert the 17 to 18 game season at the same total pay as a 17 game season. While the NFLPA wants a 1/17th pay increase to their members for switching to a longer regular season. If it were up to NFLPA, there would be no preseason games. But the NFL has enjoyed charging full price to season ticket holders for preseason games while paying the players peanuts and consumers still watching in large enough numbers and attending and buying concessions in enough numbers to still be worth it to them.
