2023 NFL Regular Season Through Super Bowl LVIII

Recommended Posts

Bucs are too bad to be good, but not good enough to be actually good.

Just the very best spot to be as a pro sports team. We’ve got the rest of the league right where we want em, I tell ya.

What exactly is concussion protocol?  As the CCSLCCTE expert, I am very concerned that the "protocol" consists of

Dr. "do you know your own name?"

Player: "yes" (yes is an acceptable answer, no proof that he actually does now his name).

D : "Do you feel concussed"

P: "well, I... uh..."

D: (interrupts) "well that's not a 'yes'.  OK, you're cleared."

Has a player actually missed a game the following week after getting a concussion?  Did Tua after his head was essentially used as a basketball?

Outside of the one against the Bengals, he missed the next two and came back against the Steelers on SNF. His second concussion on Christmas pretty much ended his season.

Players take a cognition test before the season to get a baseline. When it’s determined that they have a concussion they take the test again until they get to some standard based off the baseline. There is more to it than that but that’s the largest part.

I'm legitimately curious to know what the cognition test is.

I found this via quick Google search.  I don't know if it includes that information, but at a glance, it appears pretty comprehensive.  Not gonna be able to read the full thing tonight, but I plan to tomorrow.

It’s the Malcolm in the Middle Test.

Yes? No? Maybe? I don’t know.

Eagles coordinators lose to the Commanders, gifting one to Dallas and SF.  I hate both of these guys.  One is Hurts' long time buddy, and the other thinks he's smart because he has a PhD and a million other degrees.  Get a degree in football, jackass.

I am convinced the Vet never really went away. It just moved up the Turnpike and was rechristened as MetLife Stadium 7 years later. The amount of injuries are absurd.

Of course more injuries occur there because two teams share the stadium. Derp.

I’ve never seen such a one sided game in terms of officiating. I didn’t believe the refs rigged the games until now. Obvious in eligible receiver down field calls getting called only to be overruled after “discussion” to then call it against the patriots on the next drive that didn’t even occur. Calling tacky PI, saying a fumble that happened a full second before the whistle blew wasn’t because forward progress had been stopped. I’m sure there are more but come on. Patriots shouldn’t be winning but it should atleast be closer if it wasn’t for the officials
