zer0dotcom
I wonder what he'll pull to top nipplegate? meh, I think he's a decent replacement to the teeny poppers. As attractive as I find some of the performers they've had, I'm sick of pop stars at the Superbowl.

DEAD!
...Paul McCartney.Well, that's a pretty harsh reaction to nipplegate, dontchathink?  No, a harsh reaction would be to use Ruben Studdard. I think Paul will have some other guests come in and sing songs with him. I saw, I came, I left.

jrodsep
Great choice. I would also think that he will bring some of his friends. I was scared I thought that they would bring in Barney or Sesame Street as a safety measure...

Not really, she is a tad bit on "ye olde" side, but she messed it up for the rest of the future acts I like Paul McCartney, but who's next, Rod Stewart??? sj32
It could have been worse - they could have brought back "Up With People"
JamesCraven
"Up With People" is no more. They disbanded a few years back.Anyway, I say this was a good call by the NFL. After last year's fiasco of a halftime show, we deserve a better choice in entertainment at the intermission. Roger Clemente
*my spidey senses are tingling*I have a feeling he'll be singing stuff from his new album -- due out sometime in 2005.How long do these Super Bowl concerts last? Ten minutes or so. U2's set from 2002 was eleven minutes. It'd be hardpressed for anyone to top that in terms of scope, touchiness and awesomeness. With Fox doing the Super Bowl this year, I wouldn't be suprised if Ruben was there. Also, since it is Fox, something ya know will go off unplanned. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
